The god ugly , glitzy tourist shop at the decision point to go left or right or 1-7 and 8-up, with their plastic smiles and having no qualms about selling you two cartons of cigarettes which exceed th e duty-freee allowance of your home country awaits. And do not forget the 14 dollars for an $8 hamburger from Wendy's which signifies how well to do the airport authority is from their fees.
Arriving passengers are not without their memories, where the first restroom after deplaning is an accident adventure for old people. A far cry from the old days of a mobile trailer on the runway, the user fees will continue to add concrete necessary to handle the passengers who consider Jamaica a 2nd home. My only complaint, besides paragraph one, is that lost-and-found won't hold an item for more than 90 days, even if you call them. Everything else is acceptable. The $1 a big for the 100 foot portage keeps many porters employed
Don't know where the $ is coming from for rerouting autos arriving at MBJ (aka "departures gates"), but it is a solution to what was not a problem. Driven since opening, 2/24, it is dumb and unnecessary. On paper, it seems like a good fix. Fixing the overcrowding of taxis and cars for "arriving passengers" into Jamaica (pick up) may be helped but early observation is it was not. The buses have always been behind the fence
Quick editing suggestion. Once you're done editing, MUTE the video. If you can't get a sense of what the video is about with the visuals only and the narration muted, you've done a horrible job. A+ for narration on this video....visual wise....it makes no sense. This is the best way you could have showcased MBJ and future plans?

I will not accept Sangster's as the leading Airport in the Caribbean until the upgrade arrivals!!! it's dilapidated and atrocious.
