I beg your pardon, but I don't understand how the firing pin has enough velocity to hit the primer. Just die to the tension of the rear spring?

Yes the compression is short but the spring is VERY strong for a striker fired gun, and very long. SFP9 can ignite any primer. Just keep it oiled well, because it can rust easily. Dont ask how I know this 😜
