- About Dhamma Sota Vipassana Meditation Centre :-
Dhamma Sota Vipassana Meditation Centre is located in Sohna, Harayana. This Dhamma Meditation Centre in Sohna offers free meditation classes, courses & retreats for men and women in Harayana. Meditation courses & classes are taught according to S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. Dhamma Sota Vipassana course schedule has 10 days Vipassana Meditation course for men and 10 days Vipassana Meditation course for women in Sohna. The meditation courses are free of cost at this meditation Centre in Harayana, Delhi, students are welcome to donate to the centre. Students are advised to check the schedule online and book well in advance in order to confirm their seat.
Dhamma Sota means“Stream of Dhamma” .
It is situated at Village Rahaka, Sohna (Haryana) almost 70 Kms. from New Delhi Railway Station. Established in the year 2000, the centre is in 16 acres of land surrounded by the deep green valley of Aravali Hills.
Facilities comprise: A pagoda with individual meditation cells, a meditation hall for 100 students, three smaller halls for 40 people, a commercial-size kitchen, two dining rooms. The accommodation available at the centre is sufficient for 120 meditators (72 males and 48 females). All rooms are for single occupancy and have attached bathrooms. A simple vegetarian menu, developed to satisfy the needs of most students, is offered at all courses. ||

"How to Apply to Attend or Serve a Course"

Old students will be given the option to serve.
Please carefully read the Introduction to the Technique and Code of Discipline which you will be asked to follow during your course.
Fully and completely fill out all the sections of application form and submit it. An application is required to register for all courses.
Await notification. All correspondence will be through e-mail if you give an e-mail address in your application. Due to the large volume of applications, it may take up to two weeks before receiving notification.
If your application is accepted then we require you to confirm you will be attending in order to secure your place in the course.
All courses are run solely on a donation basis. All expenses are met by donations from those who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the same opportunity. Neither the Teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration; they and those who serve the courses volunteer their time. Thus Vipassana is offered free from commercialisation.
Old students are those who have completed a 10-day Vipassana Meditation course with S.N. Goenka or his Assistant Teachers. Old students have the opportunity to provide Dhamma Service at the courses listed.
Bilingual courses are courses which are taught in two languages. All students will hear daily meditation instructions in both languages. The evening discourses will be heard separately
