- In todays video I will be showing you how to setup XMRig step by step, so that you can mine with your CPUs!
The pool I will be using is unMineable because they provide a vast amount of different coins that you can get paid out in, but the same concept applies for other pools as well.

Great video! I had my near 10 year old dell laptop and tried out unmineable. Not a hash rate expert but I'm getting about 497 H rate per second for mining shiba

Hi thanks for help a lot! But how do I check how much I mined of coin already if I have less then a min. Payout.
How do you set up the miner to use two different kinds of GPUs at the same time? I have a ryzen 5 and an NVIDIA and one is using the system memory and it wont allow it to use more than 2 gigs at a time. The NVIDIA works at 4gigs and runs fine on kawpow, but I can not set the miner to understand that the AMD one can't use kawpow.
Very useful. I find it hard to find clear videos but this one helped. Got one additional question though. Would it be possible to run multiple BAT files? i.e. mining multiple coins at once?
Thanks for your support! Yes you can if you configure them properly. If you only have 1 GPU for example you can use a bat file and tell it to use half the GPU cores or intensity and the other uses the other half. If you have more than 1 GPU, define 1 in a batch file and the other in the other for a different coin.
Same for CPU, some threads for 1 bat file and coin and the rest for the other. Or even 4 bat files and coins and divide threads by 4 in each bat file.

Thx Man :) Is the coin going into the Unmineable account or going straight to the Wallet?
It goes to the unMineable slave wallets that are linked to your actual wallet address for the coin you are mining until you reach the minimum payout threshold, after which it will go to your wallet.

followed your instructions... got it running, but one of the messages I see in my command line list after running the .bat file is "failed to apply msr mod hashrate will be low" hmmmm

Thanks a lot for your support! If you are mining on unmineable you need to go to the coin section and select the coin that you are mining and then there is a field where you enter your wallet address and it will tell you your balance.
Alternatively you could use the unMineable app and while mining with the app it will show you the balance in real time, but I prefer using scripts for mining and checking the balance the other way.

So I don’t need to create a Bat file as long as my address “Coinbase” for example is linked for the correct coin I’m mining? I’m also mining cpu.
Yes you need a bat file otherwise you won't be mining anything. You use your wallet address for the coin you want to get paid out in, in the bat file.
I have 2 questions when you open the XMrig file dose it just start mining instantly and what is the minimum of coin to deposit to your wallet and dose it deposit the coin instantly to your wallet.
If you are "mining" on the unMineable pools it depends for which coin. When you start the bat file it starts mining automatically and will always send what you mined to the wallet on unMineable that you specified in the bat file.
Them from unMineable you search for the coin you are mining and enter the wallet address for it and you will see your balance.
For the funds to go to your actual wallet on an exchange or wherever you have it, you need to hit the minimum threshold on unMineable for the particular coin you are getting paid out in.

Hey thanks for watching. Can you try to remove the xmrig you have and download the latest version and try again?
Also be sure to run as administrator.

Can you show me your script command, maybe there is something wrong there? You need to make sure your wallet address is correct for the coin you are mining.

No, just as long as you don't use all your CPU cores and leave at least 1 for the operating system to run. 😊

Which coin would you recommend is the most profitable to mine ?
From the unMineable site you can click a coin and then click the RandomX algorithm and use the calculator and enter your hashrate. Your hashrate for RandomX will always remain the same for all coins, but that way you can calculate how many of that coin you will make in a day, then check the price of it and do * the number of coins you would make in a day and you will have your answer and will be able to determine which is best at that time ;-)
You can also use the website whattomine and enter your hashrate under RandomX and it will list all the coins at a glance and you can see what you would be making easily and which one is best.

Hi, no you don't. This is doing what the unmineable app would do automatically however by using the script you can see more details of what is happening etc.

Have you created a shortcut of the bat file and then run the shortcut? Also right click xmrig.exe and check properties and make sure that run as administrator is ticked.

You need to use the .bat file as that file has all the parameters to call the exe file and include your wallet address and other instructions as specified.

Hi. Yes it will still mine. Make sure you are running the script as Administrator. Right click it and select run as Administrator.

Your video is very powerful. I set up everything according to you. I'm able to have 2 worker to mine at the same time. One is 400 hash. And another one is staring at 3000 hash. It increase very fast. But only for a moment.
Then everything slow down. Soon both worker not mining anymore. And I try to restart. The unmineable app couldn't START anymore. Any solution? I've try many thing include Uninstall unmineable. Still I couldn't start it.
What might be the problem here?

Are you running the unmineable app as administrator by right clicking it and selecting run as administrator?
Also make sure that your miner location files in the app are still pointing to xmrig.exe and that everything is added as an exception to your antivirus software.
If you are using a bat script, like in this video make sure you set xmrig.exe to run as administrator.
Thanks for this great tutorial. I followed every step but cannot see my worker in the unmineable website. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your comment and support! You should be able to go to unMineable and click the coin you are "mining" and then enter the wallet address you have in your script for that coin, then go to the RandomX tab (which is the algorithm you are mining on for CPU) and you should see your worker name there.
It will take around 20-30mins to show up from when you start the script mining to when it shows on the unMineable site!
Hi do I close my laptop and keep the miner running on?
I would set up the laptop in tent mode, mean dont fully close it, and let it stand on itself in the form of a tent. That will help with airflow too.
Can I pause it automatically when a specific process needs the resources?
You can set to mine when idle or just limit the number of CPU threads to use so that other apps always have some resources.
I like your videos and follow your guides however trying to set up XMRig to input 3 simple things your coin your address and your worker something always Fails I have been trying to get this setup for months every time it says something different right now it says my XMR address is invalid when I have been using it for a year using unmieable's miner Everything is Correct on the website but the stand alone XMRig says my address is incorrect what am I Doing Wrong ? Please any help would Greatly Be Appreciated

Something with an AMD Ryzen 7 or 9 will give you the best hashrate on a laptop

Definitely your GPU will be much faster and efficient but if your system is going to be switched on anyway might as well use both 😃

@@morryweisfeld3931, I think you should look at where your hashes are going. The bat file is where you tell the program to send the rewards...AKA your wallet. There are a few vids explaining it and showing how to do it so that you get the credit.
I'm glad you are mining! No you do not need to setup a bat file, but if you do, it will show you more things like accepted shares etc. that the unmineable app does not directly.
Also if you setup a bat file for your GPUs (using phoenixminer or t-rex for example) then it will show things like temperature and power consumption as well, which the app directly does not!

The bat file needs to be in the same folder as your XMRIG.exe file and you need to allow XMRIG.exe to run as administrator. Is that what you have done? Try to see the video again as if you follow it exactly you should not have any issues.

It is probably getting blocked and deleted by your antivirus software or Windows Defender. Did you add it to your exceptions list?
Hi, I'm mining with my Ryzen CPU which has 4 cores 8 threads but the mining only utilise 2 threads total, even at HIGH mining intensity setting. I tried the custom setting and put: --thread=8 --cpu -priority=5. It does run on all threads but hashrate only 0.18H/s. Is my custom setting code correct? Thanks in advance!
Try to leave priority out and see what that does, however using all threads will make it worse not better because there is no room for other OS processing tasks. You command looks good.
I left mine as default on high intensity and it uses around 70% at the best hashrate I can get.

I have a problem with unmineable. When I click start it stay saying starting but for how long?..it never starts mining
Hi, thats an issue I found in the past as well. It resolves if you right click the unmineable file and Run as Administrator.
Also make sure that you have updated miner file location and selected either Phoenixminer.exe for GPU or xmrig.exe for CPU and that you have excluded/whitelisted the folders were the miners are from your antivirus/security app.

Usually how long will it take to show your 24h rewards? I didn't make any penny after 2 hours of SC mining! My Xmrig was running perfectly without any err
Was your worker showing up when you search your wallet address from unmineable?
After 24hours it will show you what you made in the last 24hours but your balance should start increasing slowly continuously after around 20mins.

so if im mining etc and put my coinbase wallet address in ! is etc coin gonna be deposited to that wallet or still in unminable ? also how long til its deposited ? or is it just added to unmineable ?
If you put in your coinbase wallet, once you have reached the minimum threshold for payout on unMineable, you will be paid out to your coinbase wallet and it will take 4hours from when you reached the threshold to get paid.
For ETC the threshold to reach before payout is done is currently 0.12 ETC, just make sure you have the auto payout when threshold is reached button set to on, otherwise you can pay out manually once you have gone over the 0.12 threshold.
@@ThatTechoGuy also ment to ask using the xmrig software do u get a bigger hash than u would using the normal unmineable ?
