  • Love this little MyMini 2 Piece Cook Set.
I purchased this for a upcoming camp trip I have planned for the Dry Tortugas. This will be a trip completely off grid and we can not bring any type of lighting fluids or compress gases for cooking.
I purchased a solar generator battery so I can have lights, a fan and the ability to have something hot too eat.
Since it’s just me going this little cook set is perfect.
I’ve tried it out twice so far the first time hooked up to my Bluetti - it pulls 471 watt hours which is not bad.
My first attempt was to cook corn beef hash. It used 36% of my battery in about 20 minutes.
The second attempt was Kraft Mac & Cheese. It boiled the water in 4 minutes and the noodles in minutes.. I left the heat on while I stirred in the powder to all in all the total cook time was 11 minutes.
The pan is pretty small so I attempted a larger pan for the hash. It cooked the food again with no issues.
This is a perfect cook set for people who camp or car camp or just want to cook a meal away from home.
Looking at trying out more MyMini products.
Oh I purchased this at Walmart for about $16.00

You do know that inductie use less power to do the same?
But i do know why u use that.
Is about 20 euro and it can not use more than 500watt power .
Wel inductie wel start higher and will flip your battery pack.
This is not really for cooking what u use .
Its more for hold warm plate after you have make somting on a real kookplate.
Personal i will go for the cheap gas option .
Compacte and do not need a powerpack with me.

There are times when gas or flames aren't allowed, or in inclement weather when one is cooking indoors? Fuel also needs to be replenished, costing $$ and frequently it's difficult to find (especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere), whereas a power bank can be recharged while driving or by harnessing the sun's power with a solar panel. One needs to be careful of things catching fire when using inside, and carbon monoxide build-up.
      I don't know what inductie is. 🤔🤷

      You do not know?
      induction
Sorry i'm Dutch so sometimes auto correct do not work .
The induction technology transfers energy directly into magnetic cookware, making them energy-efficient and fast to heat up

@@dyslectische induction, yes. It requires a lot of energy/power. More than the average camper has. I personally love carrying several types of cooking -electric, biofuels, gas, alcohol. I can use a power bank for more than cooking, i.e. to power my phone, for lighting, an electric blanket, even to recharge an electronic lighter. Here with wildfire threats becoming increasingly commonplace, often fires are prohibited. I can carry a small electric fireplace for ambiance, warmth, or both. I love clean energy.
