Great video man, my buddies and I always say fallings for the show, buckings for the dough. It’s awesome to see someone with a bunch of 5 series saws and mentioning the muffler mod on the 572 is IMPORTANT, I’ve seen a few 5 series saws burn up a bit from heat. The auto tune on the husqvarnas is INCREDIBLE, I personally run older saws but every time I work on a 5 series saw they are incredible. I would love to hear your opinion on the 385/390 (my favorite saws) Vs the 585/592 and the 394/5xp VS 592. Great video as always man
I really like the 540 mk3 but the little plastic tab in the starter assembly that holds the spring broke and has been on backorder since October. I definitely prefer it to the 201, but dealer supports here in IL is not very good at all, which is the only reason I hesitate to buy more of their saws. Awesome video though, I appreciate the influx of content. 👍🏼
I'm up in Galena. The closest dealer is Clinton IA which is about an hour and a half away. It's still my favorite topper, but I had to go buy a saw because I can't get a $50 starter assembly.
@ aww man that’s a huge bummer, have you called around to other dealers. I know I have bought some stuff online. I forgot but I found an oem site that would let you buy parts. Let me see if I can find it and I shoot it over to ya. I’m originally from Chicago!
I called around a bit, and ended up ordering online since it said ships within 30 days on husq parts. It keeps pushing back and estimates mid Feb now. It's just a strange part to be on backorder everywhere. But yeah I had seen you are from Chicago, not sure if you have made it out this direction. It's quite a bit different over here in the driftless areas.
Great information and explanation of you're saw, most of the time heavy mean robust and for heavy duty, in you're job is a very important factor plaus air filter on Husqvarna great from sstock you don't need to buy some aftermarket part for this. Good job ⚡️
For my needs, I like my Stihl 441c. I like the stihl 25 inch bar. I just picked up a used husky 562xp mk1 for $90 with a bad Recoil assembly. Just replaced it with chinese one for now...
I have a t540 and i love it but ive had trouble with the auto tune at times. Itll start for me just fine hates idling. Do you ever have to do anything to calibrate it? Its the only husky I own and ive heard you have to calibrate but cant find how you actually go about it haha. Any tips? Just found you channel you seem down to earth which seems rare in this industry. Keep it up brother
Thanks for the kind words, I’m just a goofball trying to have fun. There is a re calibration sequence. Let me see if I can film the actual calibration.
Good stuff! Husky air filtration works very well, and fuel and oil caps don’t leak! Thanks for sharing, stay safe.
@@nathantuning587 yea I forgot to mention that, thanks for that!! Glad you liked the video.

Husky 5 series saws are just lovely to run.
@@harmonicliving3507 they really hit the nail on a lot of them. They all rip right out of the box.
Huskys whole line up is bomber💣
@@sizemoretreeworks yesss they are
Wow Great saw awesome job 🌟
Appreciate that man, thanks for watching!
@matthewmeckley You got it G No problem
I constantly neglect to sharpen my shit. Can't stand anything less than sharp... gotta get on that

@@Shybaki yeah robust is a good word for it, I am bad with words haha. Yeah the air filters work real good. No need for another foam filter.

@matthewmeckley Yeah I haven't touched wood with it yet. I got a 20 inch oem husky bar and chain for it soo far. Started up...

Like battery but should know what happens to make that battery. Thanks

The Husqvarna X-Tough Light bars are strong.
Yeah I still can run my first ones after a full year cutting with them.
Batteries in backpack, little bottle bar oil. Nice. Single person mobile,👍

Batterys great. But were they mine the stuff. Not cool.
Yeah I’m not for mining lithium at all!
See if you can’t get that 572 in to huskihl, esp if you’re hangin a 36 on it 😉🤙🏻 I bet ya dig it
Haha I’m not sure Husqvarna would like to see me doing that 😂
I'd pick a 572 Husqvarna a 400 stihl if the stihl had a better oiler.
@@itllkeal I’d go with 572 all day. It’s a ripper!!
