I just started climbing this year as an old guy. don't really know any different but love my monkey beaver saddle. nice set up man. thanks for the look. cheers
I just subbed and enjoyed the saddle tour. I'm a rookie at tree work but love it. If you could please show close up and your opinion of best way to attach chainsaw to the saddle
Nice bro. Yer like the purple pink rope. Just easy to see. Few years back lota guys usin tree frog bright green but colour weres out an climbin rope can get lost in the tree. On the ground so much better loud colours. Easy to see while cuttin n chippin. Thanks
@ ya one of the things I love about this job! So many different approaches with techniques. On my channel i have my set up, take a look if you’ve got a minute! Climbing out of Norwalk,CT
What do you think the best way to get into climbing is? I just started felling trees a couple weeks ago i fuckin love it so far. The money is great and I'm a huge adrenaline junkie. I was doing welding but trees are more exciting.
@@singlewideproductions hmmmmm, so when I got into climbing it was kind of by accident. I needed a job, so my dad got me a job at the company he at. Got noticed by the foreman because I worked hard and by the second month they were putting me in trees and teaching me. RUclips is a good play to open the eyes to what is going on and then networking. Reach out to people and see if they need an apprentice climber or go to the nearest company and see if they are hiring. Education is key so whenever there is a class, I would go as fast I can! Hope that helps.
@matthewmeckley sounds good I actually work for 3 tree companies near me doing mobile welding, I don't think any of them have a climber. I'm more worried they will say no because a good mobile welder is hard to find around me and they won't want to loose me doing that work for em either. But fuck it I'll ask em I'll have plenty of work either way.
@@julianalderson3938 yea Efficiency is key for me and that’s how I keep getting the work. I don’t mind it being too heavy because it justifies that after work beer 🍻
Like the monkey beaver. I used a petzl secouia, not full time climber just abit. But twisted bad in it once. Disc n siatica. Do wish id had the support the beaver has. Thanx
This is awesome man love to see more of your content! Keep it up and stay safe
@@SierraTreeExperts thanks my man, I’m working on it! It’s so hard and I tend to stutter so I’m working on talking in front of the camera better.
