SPRING DIY HOME DECOR TRASH TO TREASURE THRIFT FLIP PROJECTS 2024

- In this episode, Jenny and I are going to do four DIY home decor trash to treasure thrift flip projects! First, we'll make decorative blocks using IOD moulds! Next, we'll make this stinkin' cute bunny rabbit tray! After that, we'll turn old spindles into bundles of carrots and lastly, we'll make adorable bunny rabbit wall decor from old frames. Love Love Love your channel!!! I so look forward to it every thursday!! I wish the "Thrifting" videos were as long as the "trash to treasure" videos tho. The thrifting videos are usually only 20 to maybe 40 minutes each week, whereas the trash to treasure ones are about an hour long. I LOVE seeing all the great stuff you find thrifting and at garage/yard sales. Your channel is one of my favorites!!!

At one time I had two antique mall booths in Va. My friend from Florida ran a small antique mall. We had probably 15 years of😊 fun thrifting. She is no longer able. When I see you girls having so much fun, I really miss it. I have a condo at the beach and tor years we thrifted and crafted. We enjoyed the beach from our window. We had to vacuum the floor before the cleaning crew came to get rid of all our glitter, paints, beads, candles, ribbons or wreath stuff.
You too together are trouble, but you have fun, love seeing that. I love the ideas too, enjoy your day. :)

Hi Guys. Fun fun fun. You both Crack me up. Nothing better than friends & laughter. I have to ask you, for your moulds have you ever used Amazing Castings resin. It's so easy and are ready for use in 10 minutes rather than go thru that process with clay. I highly recommend it. Saves alot of time and mess. Happy crafting.😊😊❤🙏🇺🇸

I used to use the same sort of molds when I decorated wedding cakes and made molds from fondant and gum paste. And I was going to say to put them in the freezer too!

I have the best luck with putting in one whole large lump pushing in all details, then removing overflow with an old credit card- plastic edge, often I don’t have time to freeze and just turn over the whole mold and gravity pulls out the casting with no distortion, always cornstarching the mold first!
Kelly I do hot glue in molds all the time and it’s sooo much easier!!! Very durable and cheap ❤. Loved watching you girls struggle with the clay😂😂😂. Hot glue cools and pops right out in under 10 minutes
LOVE the video, loved the projects! One word of advice though, if using IOD clay with the moulds, don't do the small piece by piece method if you don't want a lot of cracking. If you do larger pieces, you'll have less cracks. Everything else is the same, corn starch, flatten the back and pop into a freezer.
Great projects! You may want to try Amazing Casting Resin once you use the product you have. It’s much faster and easier to use 😅 and cures quickly
Great tutorial. I had never heard of these products before. I would probably gold leaf the crown and bees.
