This! This, Mr Kevin Floyd is an outstanding demonstration in the employment of a storm paddle. You have absolutely convinced me that I need to carve one as a backup. Thank you.
Yeah, once you give them a try, there is no going back. Where did you get your Greenland paddles from? Thanks for the comment and for Subscribing too :) Just subscribed to your channel also.
@@JoeOsChannel Awesome Joe, thanks so much for the Sub. I bought my Greenland style paddle from Craigslist actually, but it was made by the Bestie Bay Kayak Company (Al Anderson).
@@kampersadventures958 We have similar sized RUclips Channels...figured the least I could do was hit that Subscribe button for you. If ever you need another paddle, let me now and I'll cut you a deal on one ;)
@@JoeOsChannel Thanks so much for that Joe. I absolutely will let you know about a paddle. You know, there are so many advantages with this type of paddle, but for me...its the solitude I get with it. Its so quiet and close to the water. You know?
Can i ask why you swiched to the greenland style paddle? Im developing shoulder and elbow problems as i age, not from paddling but my work. Just wondering if this would help that.
that was great, Some years ago I bought one of your paddles through Outdoors NB and haven't looked back. I have been wondering about a storm paddle mostly as a spare to be honest but it is going to be brilliant for a spring paddle through a hardwood forest that floods in the freshet on the Saint John River. Great Paddles thanks for the video.
Glad you liked the video. I have lots more coming now that summer is winding down and I'll have time to do more RUclips stuff again soon. If you want a Storm Paddle, message me through my website and I'll get you a good deal on one.

Glad you liked the video. I'm working on more Storm Paddles myself today out in the paddle shop.
I’ve just made one for a spare - great instruction thanks - can’t wait to try it
Hope the paddle works well for you. Glad you liked the video.
I switched to a Greenland Style paddle over 10 years ago. I absolutely love it.
