Inspirational demonstration. I like the version where it is, in effect, an inverted, powerful forward stroke. I particularly like how you finish leaning over the foredeck (as opposed to laying on your back as commonly taught) which I think puts you in a more favourable position if conditions are really hairy.
This is a lovely video Eiichi-san. I hope to see you again when this pandemic dies down! I was able to get a Tahe Greenland kayak so now I'm really inspired to learn this roll!

Great demonstration! We hope to have you share that here in the Philippines as you did with our colleagues in Singapore previously.
Thank you! I'm glad it's useful for you. And I would like to visit you to teach some rolls in the near future.
@@EiichiIto Looking forward to it Eiichi!
Great teaching , Eiichi Ito.
Which is the used kayak in the video?
Thank you! This kayak isn't mine, but it may have been made by Tahe Marine.
Yes very nice. But those kayaks roll themselves almost.
Yes. However, for some kayakers, practice is needed. So I would like to support them.
What location is this, Eiichi? It looks very beautiful.
This is Comox on Vancouver island. I went there for roll classes. And I am going to go there this year again.
@@EiichiIto Can I come? What class is this, where can I find info? And where else will you be teaching this year?
