This song is both beautiful & sad. This piece is a true work of wonder. every note is delicate, graceful & sad. The composer put his heart to every note as though you can feel his pain.
Which is absolutely not the purpose of this music I can assure you. I did not compose this to make people sink into their sorrow. I composed it to help people in hard times, to deal with their sadness in order to be able to move on again, instead of keeping everything inside and letting a stone grow within their hearts. I hope people will understand that: This music is not made to dwell in sorrow, it is made to get you out of it.

A bright form lifted me up off the ground and set me on clouds. My sister had returned. Angels' tears turned from sorrow to glee. I returned at last.

Yes! There is darkness and beauty in everything! Accept the darkness in life and do not continuously chase after the light... Gothic is a state of mind sometimes expressed in the way we dress and the music we listen to, but mostly it is the way in which we behave. Sadly, my family does not seem to understand this and condemns the whole thing, convinced that I will never find happiness. Still, I continue to be this way, because it is how I am and it is very peaceful.

I agree with you....I dance in the dark with my gothic soul...as the world around us disappears out of sight, we reject the ever judgemental light & welcome the eternal night. I believe what you say is true. After that my mother left me and my father died, I had very difficult. it seemed like nobody cared about me and I was angry at everyone. But this song made me realize that that is not true. Now I live with my grandparents and I live with the pain. But I know that there are people who care about me. I want to thank you. XxXx

People say Gothic is all dark and stuff, but for me, I see it as a way to express what I call beautiful melancholy. Not many people understand this. The melancholy is deep and oddly peaceful leading into a serenity not many people can experience.
most are to immature to understand Gothic music and it's delicate beauty, people try to cover up their insolence and say its just depressing but I find it beautiful, only a few can understand its meaning and sadly its mostly those who have experienced this sadness and loneliness.

Emo stands for emotional. Emotions are part of the mind, and determine the current state of mind, it's pretty easy to figure this out. It just means you're probably (keyword probably) always sad and down about something less-than-serious.

i love listening to this type of music. whenever i do, i get "lost". my mind starts to wander into a fantasy but it feels so real like it actually happened. not a fantasy with spells or stuff like on skyrim. but there's someone there with me. it effects my heart and makes me feel so alone and that person is somewhere in the world...... but i listen to it anyways cause i love to get lost in my mind. i cant describe it with words..... u gotta be in my head to see what i mean.
