I unironically love Dazzler, but I've really never read her solo series, lol. I'm extremely excited that this Omni is a real thing, since I was one of the few channel regulars who was pushing for it. It's all-in-one, so I'm all-in.

This omnibus is truly truly outrageous!
Having said that I think there’s an argument to be made for Rogue getting her own omnibus, there’s a good amount of material from her time in the brotherhood as well as moments from Claremont’s X-Men that could give her her own Omni.

so excited to get this AND then having all the single issues of her comic along with this omni!! I spent all last year collecting the single issues when i heard this omni was coming out.
I used to collect this series back in the day. Wish there was Epic Collections for Dazzler, but I will buy the Omnibus for now. If later it comes to Epics then I will UPGRADE to that.

It’s interesting that you said that one story rolls into the next, that’s what I was thinking with the Uncanny Epic, Proteus, that I read for the first time last month. Good fun.
They included the Classic X-Men covers, but it would have been nice to include the Dazzler backup from that series, a late night with her and some friends at a diner. I think it was a Nocenti story, and I remember it being great. It's already a big book, but I think Daz could have sold two volumes
I’m hoping she’ll get the Epic collection treatment, it’d be a great addition for them.
Kind of surprised that Marvel didn't add in "Marvel Team-Up" #108 and #109, nor did they add Dazzler's cameo in-between "X-Men" #130, and "Amazing Spider-Man" #203 in "Fantastic Four" #217. Oh well, I'm not complaining about four masterworks in one book!

Now I can finally upgrade from the Essential collection. Fun fact, Essential Dazzler Vol. 2 was the largest collection in the line with 688 pages.

i'm surprised they didn't use one of the Bill Sienkiewicz covers. So looking forward to getting this. The stories are cheesy as hell, but they're so much fun. i'm surprised as well that they didn't include the concept art, with all the different face make-ups they had designed. Hope there's at least something about why they created the character, with the failed project of having a real life disco Dazzler singer.
A lot of newer readers often claim Marvel never historically tried to expand it's core audience. That is of course absolute nonsense and Dazzler is one of the prime examples of that.
Was hoping for a team overview with Krisis as he is a gigantic Dazzler fan, right?
I didn't know anything about this book at all. As an X-men completist, I think I'm in!
I was 50/50 on getting this for my X-Men Omni collection, on one hand she's a mutant, on the other hand I've never read a single Dazzler. I had no idea how many early Rogue stories were in this.

Want, but not right away. I'll get it somewhere down the line. I cant imagine this one selling out too quickly.
I started reading this series when it came out and let’s face it, it wasn’t great. But am I getting this - you bet I am. Part nostalgia, part that incredible cover, part hope it might be better second time round and part to see if Beauty & the Beast is as bad as they say.

As for next solo character Omnibus, I want Juggernaut!! One of my favorite characters since I was a kid. Great look, great set of powers and fantastic origin of those powers and he's shown up across EVERYWHERE and nearly everyone! Thor, Spider-Man, Hulk, X-Men etc etc... what better way to honor Jugghead than a monstrous Omnibus????

I think the only other X-men character that could have their own omnibus that wasn’t just a bunch of double dipping is Gambit?
Storm would make a great read as she has a lot of great stories but the vast bulk of it would just be double dipping so it wouldn’t be for me

Both covers are great, though I would love to have the #1 cover. However, I put this book on my Xmas list since there is no way I am going to be able to buy it on my limited funds right now.
This book is already thick but I was surprised they didn’t include Uncanny X-Men 228 since it is using a character from this series.

Bit confused about the comments around 22 mins in. You say Claremont wanted Beast to get Dazzler to join X-Factor? But that B&B mini was two years before X-Factor and Claremont had nothing to do with X-F. So why would he or Dazzler had been involved? Have I misunderstood what you were saying?
The pitch was Claremont wanted Sara Grey or Dazzler to be the female lead in X-factor. In the end they went with Jean. Just that B&B mini reminded me of that pitch.
I think someone might be Be-Dazzled.
Marvel would be better off reprinting OOP like the Cloak and Dagger V1 Omni, rather than dust collectors. Crazy that they're still waiting on putting out the OG Punisher by Baron/Zeck/Portacio Omni's.

It’s a new camera. Let me see how the locked in focus looks. Sometimes that blurs out parts it shouldn’t.

Really disappointed by Marvel for not have included the beauty and the Beast epilogue neither in the me nord here.. the only reprint Is on the b&tb premium hc which Is completelly contained in the 4th mw and here so double dipping for a 5 page story Is not ideal..
