One of the biggest challenges suffering singers face is how to build their Mix voice. Why is this so challenging? I think it’s because we don’t use songs to help build and strengthen our mix. I don’t think we consider that using songs strategically can develop our mix.
Hello sir,
I have one question please help me!!!!
I want to be a good singer and I'm also daily practicing around 3-4 hours . sometimes I'm getting bored of this cause I didn't found any good results and I've been practicing for 5 year already .
Sometimes it makes me sad. It seems like music not for me, I should stop singing.
Has this ever happened with you ???? Please tell me what should I do cause I already know I can't live without music also.
Thanks😊

This video was like the missing piece from my puzzle. I did what you said and it really works! Thanks Chuck
You are welcome!
I do this with many of The KING's 70's songs. Not sure if you still check your channel sir but I'll thank you just the same.. thank you so very much for sharing your extensive knowledge.
I try and respond to every comment or question. Thanks for sharing!
😲WOW, Chuck! this video was really helpful. It added a missing piece for me. Now I get why I've been leaning toward higher pieces. Thank you.
You are welcome! I'm glad it was helpful, Neil.
Thank you💜
Thank you 💚
Hi Chuck, I don't know if you remember but I am Leo from Germany and I sent you a dm on instagram in August 2020. I asked you to tell me whether I sing in my bridge or in pulled chest voice. You answered me with mixed voice and since then I practiced SLS everyday.
Your videos helped me finding SLS and building a passion for singing. I would not have been able to reach where I am now and I am about to finish Highschool and study music. Thanks a lot!!
Hi Leo! I so glad to hear about your singing. Way to go. And congratulations on graduating from High School. Good luck on your music studies!
Thanks so much for your teaching. Your vocal exercises have helped me immensely!
Wonderful!
Hello teacher, I'm brazilian. I love your classes.

I'm an aspiring vocal coach , please can you schedule a session for me on how you can help guide me through things I need to learn in order to achieve this dream.
Hi Ayo....I'm not sure I understand your question. Would you mind restating your question for me?
U have a very cool voice i like it alot. 👍👌
Thanks a lot 😊
Welcome back
Thanks!
Thank you so much, sir!

Hi Chuck, I wonder what you think of the Estill singing technique. I got into SLS through your videos and practiced these exercises a lot. My mix is getting stronger but is overall still kind of weak. Now my vocal teacher doesnt really know Sls and tells me to pull up my chest voice to get strength into my mix because he has learned the estill technique. I tried to explain SLS but I think he does not really like it so I wonder what you think about „Estill“ if you know it? Thanks a lot
HI PiT beats...sorry...I've heard of Estill, but know nothing about it. Regardless of the technique, pulling up chest voice is a dead end.
@@PowerToSing Okay thanks, do you have any tips other than doing the sls exercises from singing for the stars to get a stronger mix? Thanks a lot
@@pitbeats7739 For me studying with teachers familiar with Seth Riggs technique was the best and fastest way in combination with the book.
@@PowerToSing Okay thanks a lot for your fast answers you have really helped me alot!!
Hello sir please reply me My Chest Voice Humming is Set on to E2 so what i do for it . So is this my scale .. it's too low for males
I don't understand your question.
Have you always had that great speaking voice?
Not really. Just the last 10 years or so. I credit the larynx staying down and other vocal exercises and aging. My voice as become more resonant.
hi sir, I have been watching your videos for 2 years and I have improved myself. Before 2 years, I couldn't sing higher than E4. Recently I can. Actually, my range is e2-e4 and it is rich. But when I warm up, for instance, after 15 min lip trill, my voice changes a lot. After lip trill, it becomes like a child's voice. The dark sound is disappearing. (becomes so thin and funny). After that, I can sing even a4 but it comes so weirdly. How can I move my dark sound to a high pitch a bit? I guess, warming up affects that badly.
Hi Kadir...there are so many things that can effect this....probably time for a lesson. SCHEDULE YOUR LESSON HERE: www.powertosing.com/schedulelesson
Hello sir, what advice would you give to someone struggling to phrase in a mix?
What is happening? Can you describe the issue?
@@PowerToSing I found my mix some few months ago, about 2-3 months ago and it was shaky and unstable especially at my bridge area. I have been able to stablise it above my passagio, but then whenever I try to sing the lyrics of a song in the mix, it gets shaky and unstable

Sir,is there a thing known as a head mix????....because my voice sounds like a falsetto but I don't have to flip it to falsetto to sound like that and that part is so low in sound and too airy... please help sir...🙏
Head voice is a mix. It's the condition of the vocal cords that causes the airy breathy sound. Sometimes the larynx is also coming up which can increase the breathiness. It's all about what is happening at E, F, F#4. If those notes are good, head voice will be too.
Sir if i wanna singing high vacal ,low vocal ,rapping all the voice types what are the exercise for me please tell me sir..my voice like a arina
I don't understand your question.
Good day, I would like to know how to sing high on a low song or male song.

Thank you for responding
I will really appreciate it if you respond to this.
You mix voice workout has helped me alot in developing my mix voice ...I can now sing and belt songs (G#) I was unable to do before but just recently I tried singing a song (bad habits by ed_sheeran) but I was unable to sing it__ even a verse. Am confuse I thought I have had my mix voice? why then do I feel hoarseness in the entire song,I tried to control it but I just can't......
Actually the song was on the vocal break(passagio) ... C4-G#4 ....I need your take on this am kind of worried...
Pls respond
Please respond to this question....your response will really help.
Is it possible that the key is high for me? But I could do some workout within those those note but why can't I sing some songs on those particular note
Hi David: You were likely doing mix in the exercises, but as you sang the song, your larynx came up and words start to splat and pull chest. There are several ways other singers fix this. First is to modify the vowels in the words that tend to splat. Start with that by watching: www.powertosing.com/ep-25-how-to-sing-high-notes-vowel-modifying-hacks/
@@PowerToSing tnk you alot....I will work with this ..
I don't really know what to do..
My vocal coach gave me very high scales to practice and I have to send him the audio today itself. But I can't even hit any one of them...it's giving me a lot of pressure as it's hard for me to hit high notes.. iam really weak right now. I hope this video helps...
use jacobs vocal academys videos for falsetto, high notes, vocal agility & power etc! the exercises work so well just work hard as long as possible, ive been able to save myself with them :)
Use your headvoice with weight to match ypur chest tonal quality
@@fjnxtgdjsjeeh6073 yeah...I have been using that ...it helped me a lot..
But there is still so muh to improve...
Thankyou for the advice..I will work hard
