Love your podcast. Life is life, and you are truthful and not pretending "everything is fine all the time". I can relate and that is just nice. Thank you for podcasting. The wrap is beautiful, hope the problems with yarn quantity get solved.

Thank you Julia. You’ve just been a very welcome contrast from the Euro finals! Cheered myself up by watching you and knitting the Be Simple Shawl. 🌷

Hi Julia, loving your podcast. I’ve got more things on my needles now than I ever have. Ten items. It’s crazy. Just casting on more things without a second thought. 😳😀

Love all the WiPS and FOs You could always donate your bits of leftover yarn to your son's school for arts and crafts.

Love the sweaters. Do hope the yarn issue is resolved for your wrap. I am currently knitting a small top for a neighbour's soon to be grandchild. The inspiration came from a visit to the Knitting shop in Shoreham last weekend. A great day out knitting on the train to Brighton and back. 🇬🇧

Such lovely knitting. Enjoyed seeing everything as usual. I am working on the Anglia blanket by Wool Gathering Designs. It uses "shadow knitting" to create a simple elegant design using two colors. Highly recommend.

Oh nooooo! About the wrap. Hopefully the issue will be quickly resolved.
I'm still working on a lap blanket in basic Tunisian stitch. Very close to done, tho....near end of 5th & final cake.
I'm going to start on a large blanket immediately after I finish this one. Haven't decided pattern or stitch. Lots of times I just wing it.
The hat you made is so sweet.

Love your Ankers Tee! I have been sneaking around that pattern for a while, but I am not sure, because round yoke usually do not fit me that well on my quite square shoulders... I just finished my first Love Note sweater, using the Tin Can Knits App (highly recommend that!) and I am currently working on the Floreale Tee, a free pattern from a collection PomPom did for Hobbii - really like that as well!

Julia, I definitely ran out of yarn near the end. I had a 50 gram skein in my stash, phew. I am now doing the ribbing.
    Your wrap is beautiful.

I beg you had more than 150g to start with though? Pattern lists 3x 150g - I only received 3x 50g?

@@TheHappyKnittingPodcast yes, I had the amount called for in the pattern.
Not having the right amount of yarn to start with is disheartening..

Your wrap is beautiful and Woolstok is one of my favorite yarns. I just checked the Online store (Wool & Co.) in the US where I buy my yarn and the kit is $140 and does include 3 -150 gram skeins. I hope that company makes this right for you! And now I want to order that kit!

I get that sometimes you just want to get ina rhythm and knit. I piced out yarn for colour poportuniy and thst is as far as I got. I don't really like mystery knit alongs so now don't know why I bought it. Also I am work8ng on the caterdral sweater and was having a lot of problem with the yplk chart and round numbers working and after the first section realized there was a repeat box in the chart that my old eyes missed. I made it wotk ,but now for every chart I need to rewrk as I did to start. It does seem to be working, just some thinking to start each chart. If it had been top down I would have started again but it is bottom up.

Hi Julia , ive looked on ravelry and it looks like other people have had issues with the yarn running out on the Monticello wrap too.
