- I show off some ways you can customize your Amazon fire tablet. There are multiple things you can do, from changing away from the Fire OS skin, downloading Google play store and extra apps, and buying a nice protective case. Thanks for watching:)

Don't know if anyone else suggested this, but to "get rid of the Amazon Apps," drag one on top of another to create a folder of items that you don't want to see. And thanks for showing us how to remove those "new items" on the home screen!
I was just going to suggest that! I have everything in folders on my home screen - it makes things much neater.

I am forever looking for that gorgeous Nat Geo case, seems it was only in USA and not easy to get. Wish they'd do a new release of them for 2021! Great video.

My daughters "Home", "Back" buttons/icons along the bottom of her screen have disappeared, but she can still press in the area and they still work but you just can't see them. Any tips?

I don't think Nova launcher is that safe and it also doesn't let you set it as your default launcher
Trying to simplify Kindle Fire 10 tablet (2017 release) for my 85 year old sibling who only wants to read Facebook, research and learn on RUclips, email, and that’s about it. He does not have or want an Amazon account. He has enjoyed this Kindle Fire up until the recent changes and it is now very confusing and disappointing to him. I am trying to help him be able to enjoy his time on Kindle again because it meant several hours a day of pleasure to him. Can you advise me? He does not have a computer, only this Kindle.

I assume it's to help run Amazon apps smoother. I recently noticed the Fire HD 10 has game mode now. From my testing it's only available for games downloaded off the Amazon app store.
I've compared Asphalt 8 from the Google play store, and the Amazon App store recently. Google play version has frame rate issues, but the Amazon version has a setting that allows you to use high frame rate mode. Looks really nice btw. Sadly the HD 8 Amazon version doesn't allow high frame rate mode.
