@SoujiroSan26 well if that was the case they could have easily put Waka or Oki in instead and incorporated Amaterasu and the celestial brush as their super move. It's a missed opportunity in my opinion
Capcom was the one who decided to make THEIR part of the roster only one per franchise with the exception already made very clear, since Tatsunoko isn't a fighting game company whatsoever, and they required to limit their characters which were already scarce, I'll repeat myself, don't talk crap if you're not completely and absolutely sure of what you're saying, investigate the game, it's creation, and everything about it BEFORE trying to correct something with your noob assumptions.

When I heard this I was expecting Amaterasu to come busting into the game, my hopes were short lived
And then MvC3 happened.
Well with Ryu, Chun-Li, and Morrigan they are mostly the perfect attendance trio since they appeared in every vs Capcom game.
Ryu, Chun-Li, and Morrigan weren't in CotA and MSH

yep it was. it okami was (one of) the greatest games i have ever played, but it never sold well back when it came out, so we got okamiden as a sequel
