I was still able top get mine, thank goodness I'm in Canada. But you CAN still buy them in stores, as long as they still have them in stock in the US, but stores will no longer restock them
My dad was on the team that first developed these in the 60's. He's always had the best and finest. about 6 years ago he and I went out and compared the pulse ox at a doctor's office, hospital, and 6 from a medical supply store. I purchased the one that was the most accurate. When AW6 came out, I purchased it, and we compared it with the same devices - and apple watch was within 1% of most of them, and matched the hospital devices. Apple watch Ultra 2 and Series 9 are back for sale in the US.

I have seen some tests that blood oxygen sensors on Apple Watches compared to official sensors offer the same results.
