Substitute lookalike? First off AJ was cast in Tomb Raider 1 and 2 mostly for her huge rack to match Lara Croft from the original games as well as a rough approximation of the characters face. The casting of Alicia Vikander for Tomb Raider (2018) actually matches the appearance of the game reboot Lara. Beyond that I would say don't even bother to get a lookalike, just reboot Salt or recast without regard to appearance. After all, does Harrison Ford look like Alec Baldwin as Jack Ryan in Patriot Games? Not even slightly - but it still works very well. Ironically the same director who shot Salt also shot Patriot Games, and its sequel Clear and Present Danger. So forget AJ, cast Rebecca Ferguson and be done with it - she's a Swede and they usually do Russian roles very well.
What ending was this? I saw this movie on Prime and I could've sworn the movie ended with Salt jumping out of a helo and fleeing the scene. And what does it mean "Orlov is still out there"? I thought she offed him.
There are multiple edits and endings of this film. Originally it was a Tom Cruise project apparently and he rejected it and it got gender swapped. It was also edited down a certificate in the UK and ended up with choppy action scenes as a result to hide violence. Similar to what may of been done on Alien Romulus recently. Lower certificate equals bigger potential audience and income

One of my favorites from her ♥️!!!
We need a Sequel !!!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Still waiting for Salt 2 with Angelina Jolie in it. When is it going to happen??!!
Never.
By the time she wants it they will already have given it to someone else because she already refused it.
Probably Rebecca Ferguson - if she works as Ilsa Faust in MI she'll work as Salt.
That would’ve been satisfying. But I prefer his more gruesome end, and that she was just getting away to hunt down the rest.
Didn't she kill orloff in the first one
@@thebigfignewton In a gruesome way yeah, she cut a bottle and cut his neck over and over with the broken liquor bottle 🍾 😅 and her husband is shot in front of her not drown, all that is in the theatrical cut version, the original version basically, this is the extended cut version, and in this version her husband is drown to death which is why she drown's orlov.
Angelina was the lady version of Ethan hunt/Jason Bourne ..👍👍👍
No she is not. She is salt.
She's Brilliant!
shes perfect
I love this version 🤩
I really wish there was a sequel, if not a series, in the spirit of Jason Bourne. Maybe even have the characters meet up.
Bro the amount of times this woman fakes people out is hilarioussss😂😂😂 I was fuvking dyingggg when the doctor was about to insert the needle and then Salt hops up and starts fighting and the the guy is like “shhhhhITTTTT”😂 @3:40
This is my most favourite movie of her...
Totally agree that a sequel is neededc - but only if AJ does it . . . not an inadequate, substitute lookalike such as they used for the tomb raiders.
@@mnomadvfx I agree about Rebecca Ferguson, she aced it in recent 'Mission' franchise films.
We need a sequel and prequel for this
Angelina JOLIE, Une actrice extraordinaire, hors concours…
I don't remember this in the movie! I totally wish they made a sequel!
That was an awesome ending!
This ending is soooo much satisfying
