It was hard to keep track of who was who. But what about the publisher's assistant who was killed, then rolled in a blanket and dumped? And the blackmailer who was killed? There was no accounting for either in the ending. The true title is, "Lies My Sister Told Me".
Why didn't the police investigate those deaths? I mean it didn't matter much, coz she went back to the nuthouse anyway. But because she was the real Jennifer and not Tracy, it would explain how she could drive and use a computer, and knew how to get into her house because after all, she was sane for awhile till her husband's death. But she should've been held accountable for those murders too. This part was really the only glitch in the movie after all else had been explained.

Like that loan shark for example.4. In a fit of rage, Jennifer drags Tracy home. The story spills out. Layla the dot is confused. Tracy explains that Jennifer is her real Mom. And she explains that she did everything to protect Jennifer. 5. Then there are teardrops. With love, forgiveness, and a happy ending. Now all Tracy had to do was tell the hospitalized Jennifer that she'd write books in her name to bring in money for the treatment. And when Jennifer gets out of the hospital- life is normal again.
Yep, it’s nuts. Got away Scot free with her serial murdering. What about the publisher who left his wife and kids? Gotta love a lifetime with all the loose end left loose

You really felt sorry for the daughter in this. She clearly was at her wits end trying to figure out what was wrong with the woman she thought was her mom.
How could she have escaped that place if she was a true total psycho? The premise is a bit unbelievable. Didn't they have any CCTV footage to show what she did to the normal twin?
And the two homicides committed by Jennifer, or was it Tracy (?), were completely forgotten about? I could see how the sleaze bag black mailer may have not been reported missing, but her publicist seems like she was on the right side of the law, and must have had someone in her life who would have noticed her disappearance. The teary ending is okay, but the lack of closure regarding the homicides seems just, at least, a tad bit unrealistic. Then again, it's a movie, so those who put this film together used their creative license to dismiss the two homicides at the end in exchange for a happy ending. I have nothing against happy endings, but, just a bit too many loopholes and contradictions for me. Nonetheless, the movie was okay and worth watching. The film could have been titled (Twin) Skeletons in the Upstairs Room..
She's mental, but she knows how to drive, what key to open the front door of her sister's house, and how to get to the same address after being drugged up in a hospital I'm assuming she was there for a couple of months at least.
She was planning it for six months ... cos she had been rehearsing the story: *my sister drugged me & took my place* for that long. So she might have figured out the key things: keys, route to her sisters house, what car she might be driving or whatever ... over that time.

Yes, she's really good looking in an unusual way that really works for the plot: especially that opening scene, she looks so slim & perfect, compared to the bedraggled figure beside her, head down, hair hanging any which way!
The part that I like is when the doctors find out that she IS a twin and all that. They are supposed to do every check on family tree and zero is said. Birth certificate says twin so this is dumb . 🤷👎🙄.
