I said this before and I will say it again . You guy’s have a gorgeous farm , your equipment is nice , and well maintained , your buildings are beautiful and well maintained . Your farm is just class ! Chet , you are one lucky young man and I think you know it , but you do work hard and your a pretty good mechanic . I love your videos !
Farmers should have more subscribers than any other channel on youtube. Farmers are the backbone of the entire world. I have a lot of respect for any farmers out there.
Thanks for the shop tour Chet and Dougo. You have a good set up Chet and a lot of people would give there eye teeth for half of that. Love your work shop and farm steading. Nice set up plus you have some nice equipment to run Chet you are a lucky boy. I know you all work hard and you have your own speculates like you are a great mechanic and good at fabricating things as well. Larson Farms has a real good team. Great video
Chet & Dougo you did an excellent job on the tour of your work chop for the first time. It will get better though the longer you do it. Thank you for the tour an info on the shop .
Top notch facility; I'm sure you should be proud of it. Amazed how well you take care in cleaning it, and the equipment. That kind of care is mostly lost in todays busy world. Keep at it, I'll keep watching.
That is a very sweet shop setup. I understand there’s a lot of ways to do stuff but that is one shop most people want but very few can achieve. 👍 hats off to all you guys for your hard work getting you all to where you’re at.
Thanks for tour Chet & Doug. A really nice set up and very efficient work areas that covers all aspects of your needs I would think. I really enjoy watching your videos and always look forward to your next one. Take care guys.
For thw machinery tour, you could do it Brian Brown style - split it up, one video for trucks, one for tractors, one for combines and spreaders, and so on :) I would loooooove that shop. Damn guys. And the 50 foot door!
Awesome Shop! I would recommend EXIT Signs above the doors that lead to the outside. Also, make sure to have plenty of fire extinguishers throughout the building.
Now this is the America I love, What a fantastic family Really enjoy your channel, I find it amazing as a city slicker Your living the dream men. God bless you Son and your family. From Perth Western Australia
Awesome shop guys did a great job showing it off!! Top-notch operation you guys have should be proud!! I look forward to the next video!! I watch everyone of them!!!
I’m a professional mechanic, and I work for a large well known company that’s red. Your shop is the nicest one I think I’ve ever seen, and by far nicer than any shop I’ve ever worked in. Holy cow you guys are lucky.
Fascinating to see first hand how this modern intricate equipment works, and am very impressed with the knowledge that you have about how this all works. Love your videos with Nicole too.
Hine site is 20 20. Storage tank but I'm just sitting at home watching so I can remember things you see life through the rearview mirror I get a kick out some of your analogues take it easy and keep it coming TKS
You guys got a massive farm, I'm 15 and when I'm older I'm going to start farming my family farm that has about 260 acres, it's not much but it's a start.
13:13 Your Dad, "Doug'O" was correct Reservoir, Reserve, extra water capacity.... yeah we kind of get it.... this is what works for us...enough/nuf said........ lenience vs leeway **Definition of leeway. 1 : an allowable margin of freedom or variation : tolerance The new rules allow managers greater leeway in making decisions. 2a : off-course lateral movement of a ship when underway The sailboat's centerboard helps to reduce leeway. b : the angle between the heading and the track of an airplane. So kind of what you where looking to say was water reserve and leeway before we suck air when power washing... BTW nice hot water pressure wash rig.
Home is every bit the old shop as the new. While the old no longer serves as the space to refresh the means to production, it stands as testament to a time when growing the farm was conducted in the old shop. Before the old shop...it was up hill both ways. The only thing constant is change, be it good or bad. I count my blessings. God Bless.
I have been involved with some utility elevator designs and installation that we used a forklift mast that was bolted to the floor and a platform mounted to fork frame. Has a small electric powered pump to run up and simple solenoid to open valve and let gravity bring down. The mast was always a take off we got cheap and did not cost much to put whole thing together to make an elevator out of.
Beautiful shop well organized cant wait for equipment tour. It also looks like you take care of the guys that work for you . Nice wush you guys the best
oh yea... I for got to add.... my shop has mostly a dirt floor, and I need to begin re-roofing as the asphalt is ten years old, and I heat with wood.... but then -I am a hobby blacksmith and wood worker, if I could make a living with a farm I might still have one... you guys motivate me to do more things (even at the age of 67) … thanks for sharing
Love it! I do work in a nice shop as we have a lot of equipment for wild rice, potatoes and soy & black beans. That said, you have the "Cadillac" of shops! Hands down!
Tell Dougo to suck it up and be grateful for his operation. There are a helluva lot of farmers doing worse. He just needs your positive outlook. Maybe it will rub off on him.....Thank you for what you do. As an old retired farmer, I enjoy your outlook and your videos.
For you loft lift I would go to Ritchie bro’s or similar auction and find a forklift with a bad motor or trans and strip the mast off. 110 volt hyd power pack and your good to go
Watching your video of your equipment , offices , wash rooms , store rooms , work shops , parts room and upstairs apartment left me with one thought - What a outstanding operation with high standards and planned working details . PS - Love the old wood in the office and kitchen area.
I love the shop so much it's my dream to build something similar one day. Honestly you're living a large portion of my biggest dream. Thank you for sharing this with me and with with world I just found your channel and I have already subscribed.
I always like to get ideas from seeing other shops. I’m going to put in a two post lift but I can’t bring myself to put it someplace and tie up the area. Seeing how you did your pit area gives me more to think about. They are kind of the same - dedicated areas that you can use otherwise but it’s not always convenient.
Wow nice shop! And i thought ours was. Our shop is 70 x 90 40 ft hydro lyft door and an 18ft garage type door for trucks or smaller stuff. Our 9630t and the narrow track quad just barely fit through that one. Our offices, bathrooms and lunch room are attached also to the shop but i cant remember the dimensions. All in floor heat with an oil burner for extra heating and it gets rid of all our waste oil. Sometime you'll have to do a machinery video. Theres much more to see than whats in your shop now!
You guys are lucky to be so well set up! I'm sure a lot of people would be jealous but you had to of worked hard to be in the position where your farm is now.
That is one very nice farm shop Back in the day when I worked at a fab shop I could have made you stairs and railing for cheap about $150. Plus material but I been away from fab work for 25 years now and I is retired taking it easy with the right equipment that stairs and landing with railing about a 3 day job
For the over head parts room find and an old fork lift mast and weld up a platform to slide on the forks get a pump and you have a homemade elevator we have one and it is great because is doubles as a table. Really nice set up you have also!
I just subscribed I watch a few different farming channels and really like what you guys have going on that building is magnificent as is the equipment really enjoy it young men, I guess I better get caught up to date on the vids...👍👍
You should check out some manufacturing facilities near you. I worked at Honda here in Ohio, I worked on the second level we had to raise parts up using a electric lift. I don't think it costs that much

Can only imagine how much that cost, wow, beautiful place!
Awesome beans.......very nice facilities, you folks are quite fortunate and have used your resources well.
What an inspiration ye guys are. Greetings from Ireland. God bless.

What an awesome shop
Wow! That’s beautiful!
Incredible set-up, very impressive.
What we use on our tin roofs is heated electrical cord wrap. Every foot is a run of heated cord. Keeps snow and ice off the roof at all times
Finally the video we have all been waiting for
Great shop. Love the old wood on the walls.
Super set up Larson's.... using that plan picture really helped to get a grip on the layout... good job on that.....
