This is a step by step assembly guide for the Arrow (Common: 10-ft x 8-ft; Interior Dimensions: 9.85-ft x 7.5-ft) Galvanized Steel Storage Shed. 2020 - 2021 guide!
Thanks for taking the time to post this video! It helps interpreting the directions. I know this video is a few years old, but the instructions and part numbers changed a bit. But the basic steps still apply. If doing this alone, some of the bolts and nuts are impossible/difficult unless you have very long arms. One trick is to use get the nut and bolt together and then use a small amount of the sealing tape (or duct tape) on the nut to "hold" while tightening on the other side.
Started to put this together today (got up to the tables but it was raining and didn't make sense to put weatherproofing on yet... Probably could've gotten the roof on). The instructions suck, so this video was my salvation. Thank you!
Good job, I’ve been rewinding this video all day today lol ugh we spent 8 hours on this damn shed today! Had to take breaks, it was 94 here in Denver Colorado today, we still have the top middle part to put on the roof and the doors to do tomorrow after work! Ours is on a big wooden base
My Mom lost the instructions and this video was how I put mine together so thank you and also shows you the quality of the video . Granted I do have construction experience but this video really really help! Thank you !
Thank you so much for making this video! I’m going to use it while assembling 2 of the 8’x10’ sheds! You explained everything so perfectly, I’m not afraid to tackle these bad boys at all! Then I have to assemble the 10’x12’ version!
I’m glad to see that it takes only 30 minutes and 29 seconds minutes to install. Seriously, thank you so much for the video. For all your efforts, The shed company should compensate you.
Really good points to look out for. I have had two of these sheds at different houses and they are amazingly long lasting for the money. Mine was $309 including tax. The base cost almost as much. I bought nine 2x6x8s and two 2x6x12s plus 3 sheets 3/4 inch plywood (everything weather treated. Cost was $188. Good job Tasty, great voice adds Value to the listening.
You’re the best man, this video truly helped, I got half way with the build and I was getting confused with the instructions, but your videos made it more clearly on how to get this done now
Me and my wife just built one of these sheds this weekend. Pain in the butt putting together. You're video is way better then the directions. Wish I would've watched youre videos instead of directions
Great video,I’m on day 2 and my daughter and I will be installing roof, I would’ve trimmed that tree first in your video because I see them branches crashing down on your well built shed, thanks for the video. We painting ours and bolting it to our deck.
Dude you’re my hero I haven’t watched yet but I tried to put mine together last week and the instructions were awful, this will be conquered this weekend
I've been a builder for many years and have seen quite a fair bit of sheds. The plans in ryan's package ruclips.net/user/postUgkxB7IXYxLzb_Ichhe45zM3Im5xfEiSp9vB have some of the nicest looking sheds i've seen in a while.
Hey Toasty, Interesting how 11 people gave this a thumbs down. LOL. I always watch videos from others before starting a project and I made no exceptions with this shed. I am a pretty handy guy myself, but like to see what mistakes others make so I don't have to learn the hard way. Your video is far and away the best step by step video I found. So from one professional to another you can see why I am puzzled by the thumbs down of the 11 geniuses that apparently snapped their fingers and the shed magically appeared. I do not post RUclips videos but am going to do a short for this shed. If you don't mind I would like to add your link for the step by step assembly. I am basically going to share some info to help speed up the process vs. taking the manual at its word. I'm not doing an assembly video. Thanks for the great video and God Bless. Chazz
Nice video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Mahorrla Wooden Paradise Method (just google it)? It is a good one of a kind product for building better sheds and woodworking without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy at last got cool results with it. 👍😎
YOU ARE A LIFESAVER! A friend of mine gave me his storage building, used and unassembled of course. However some of the numbers are rusted making it impossible to read them. I have the instructions which are pretty easy to understand but it's hard to actually distinguish one part from another at times just by looking at it on paper. Thanks a million for sharing!
Thanks for this fine video! Arrow should pay you a fee👍 it was a bit of a challenge even with two of us. Some small spring clamps helped hold pieces while assembling. Also a magnetized cup holder for screws etc. For us it took easily 2 days steady. Best to you and allergies.😆
Anchoring is key. And after many years when the base has rusted again it's time to replace or repair. I had an older version at my rental take flight during a storm a few months ago.
Man I wish I found this video earlier! Spent a day working through the instructions. We have the top to build and your video was very helpful! I know we can get this done tomorrow! Thanks for sharing!
You should've gotten paid for this video. The blueprints in the manual are very small and hard to decipher at times. Your video helped greatly I appreciate it.
Looks good. I just did one. An wanted to see what the differences were. No rubber seal. An wasn’t sure where to use that tape. How long did it take you? I did it by myself an that’s was not such a good idea.
Thanks for the video. I think instead of swinging the camera around showing the completed parts, maybe an overhead, stationary view would help. Most of us are pausing the video several times to keep up.
Use self-tapping screws or make your own holes if there's parts that don't quite line up. It even says in the manual that things might not always line up so you might have to make your own.
We are in the middle of building this nightmare shed as I watch your video. Thank you for posting as watching this video and referring to it for the ladder half will help for sure
We did it...I prepped steps 1-4 but not doors..and prepping those doors would've helped to. The base took long...we used 16x16 cement blocks... it's all good too!!
I see that you put this shed up a couple years ago. How is the roof holding up. I am going to put on up. I am in northern Wisconsin where we get a good amount of snow. I will be putting some extra support. Great job explaining how to assemble. Thank you!!!
bought a 6x8 but the corners had no ID on them . watched ur video and it was great , helped me big time . didnt know that the corners were different sizes ? had to rebuild it . poor instructions. didnt see any dimensions on this video for panels . would have helped . great video anyway . thanks guys
My wife and I have been putting this together for two days and we are just now putting the walls up. We noticed they did not put the holes in the right place so I drilled some of my own. Have you had that problem?
interesting points ,if anyone else trying to find out backyard storage sheds plans try *WoodBlueprints. Com* Ive heard some decent things about it and my colleague got cool success with it.
I would put a rubber gasket and use caulk to seal the floor base to the deck or concrete to keep water from coming in the base . i did that with my older arrow shed but want to buy a new one for the odds and ends stuff
Do i need to ground my metal shed? i noticed more lightning strikes in the yard. My metal shed does sit on a wooden base with 5x5 flag stone at each corner. Any advice to appreciated.
Sorry for the newbie question but does the shed come with hardware to secure the metal base to the concrete slab? I have an existing slab but I’m wondering how to secure it. Thanks.
Hi I see yours came with the floor frame kit included. Unfortunately ours did not and we paid $450 for it What model number was yours if you know it please
Hey brother, I’ve watched this video like 10 times and I’m stuck on step 5. I don’t know how to correctly assemble the side wall frames. What do I do with the 2 channels & 2 angled pieces to connect them to the front & back frame?
The instructions in this build were the worst I’ve ever seen. I wanted to make a video but o found yours and will recommend it to others. I still built it on my own but I’m glad this is up, might have saved me some time and frustration.
Thanks for taking the time to post this video! It helps interpreting the directions.

I have one of these sheds in my back yard that is ready to be replaced, but we've had it well over 30 years.
30 years??? Seriously? I was hoping for 5 years.
I too just took down my old metal shed of about 35 years..just purchased another but a little smaller size...
@@markrhuett Thanks this just confirmed my purchase in these sheds. That's incredible.
Tornado took the last one I had, it grabbed it and tossed it who knows where? never saw it again.
@@grimsonforce7504 I have one that is 20yo and all i did was paint it so far. still in good shape.

How did you build the wooden base?
@@christopherschertner499 get some pallets people give away for free then just throw some plywood on top
How big does the foundation need to be ? Exactly 8x10 or slightly bigger

OUTSTANDING VIDEO!!!
You made the build of my shed much easier and saved me allot of time!!
Thank You!!!
Must have been loads of pollen 😂 we counted all the sniffs.
Great video and very helpful thank you!
Yeah. Pollen
Thank you so much for making this video! I’m going to use it while assembling 2 of the 8’x10’ sheds! You explained everything so perfectly, I’m not afraid to tackle these bad boys at all! Then I have to assemble the 10’x12’ version!
What have you done so far ?
How did it turned out
longer screws before start. Go buy screws 1/4 inch longer for ease.

I don’t think I would’ve been able to complete this build without your video
Thanks for the video. My son and I are nearly done with our 6' x 8' shed (we have a small backyard in San Francisco.) I used your video for reference.
I’m glad to see that it takes only 30 minutes and 29 seconds minutes to install.
Seriously, thank you so much for the video. For all your efforts, The shed company should compensate you.
It takes most 2 weeks.
Haha
@@jackfrosty4674 I can build wooden shed faster and cheaper.

What did you used the plywood sheets for?
Where did you purchase yours from?

I used spray foam on mine after I assembled it worked really good
Spray foam where,any pics?

I got one of these from a discount shop. Instructions totally in French lol thanks for this video
How long did it take to build, and how many people?

Great job explaining how to assemble. Thank you!!!
Always love the amateur camera super fast panning shots, back and forth, guaranteed to make you dizzy.
we had trouble figuring out the sliding door track, which of course you guys skipped. Anyway it was helpful
Very helpful video, thank you. AND that was a bad ass VANS hoodie! 🤗
Thanks for the heads up but I got dizzy trying to keep up with your camera..
I needed step 7 the most but you flew through it
how much did you pay for this? Has it been durable? Still going strong? No rain or too much condensation getting inside and rusting tools?
It looks good, now realizing it’s not what will work for me but glad I figured it out before buying so thankyou
You are moving the cam back and forth, up and down like a rollercoaster.
If you don't pour a foundation for this, can you put it on concrete blocks if you had enough of them and set them up?
Was wondering the same thing. Did you ever get it finished?

This shed has been a b**** lol finally putting roofing on the instructions that came with it bunch hogwash. Thank you for ur video it helped so much!!
How many bags of cement is need just to put the shed on?
Doing this now. Center shots on roof panels do not align. Bottom and top do, but middle support doesnt line up.
Loving the video but wish you could have slowed down a bit with your camera and show each completed section.
Awesome video. It helped me a lot. I'm mostly done. Gotta do the roof tomorrow
Did anyone screw down the base in a few spots before putting up the wall? Is this a bad idea or ok to do? Thank you in advance 😅
Would it be OK if I use self tappers from the inside out? Since I have no space on the side or back due to walls being on the way. Is it possible?
Can this boy fit under a deck easily, or would it be impossible to bolt in the top screws for the roof? Thanks
Thanks for tutorial. What was the total build time?
I would put a rubber gasket and use caulk to seal the floor base to the deck or concrete to keep water from coming in the base . i did that with my older arrow shed but want to buy a new one for the odds and ends stuff
What screws needed when putting the sheds together? All hardware were lost
Thanks. Best shed assembly video I've watched. It should really help when mine arrives later this week 👍
make sure spot level. Level and square so screws line up.
Thanks you sir I am very very appreciate your job you explained everything detail I am thinking to buy soon
Very good video

Thank you so much!! We had the corner pieces on backwards and were losing our damn minds.
How many days did it take to build? How many people needed?

What was the cost in material for the concrete pad
