hi! Today I'll be talking about how I draw and paint hair. I did a hair tutorial before, so this is like a newer version of that tutorial. I draw and paint the hair in Procreate, but ofc you can use other drawing apps as well.
I talked a bit about the brush I use, Blackburn brush, and you can find my configuration in my community post / @fungzau !

BrushesI use for this video. These are all Procreate's default brush:
- (rough sketch) Narinder pencil
- (soft shading & lighting) Soft brush
- (clean sketch & shading) Blackburn brush (configuration in community post!)
- (freckles) Flicks
- (blur) Wet sponge

I’m a year late but wanted to say I’m a 30-something year old trying to get back into I’m drawing hobby, and using procreate for the first time. this is one of the most concise and easy to digest tutorials I’ve seen about hair so thank youuu.
I'm not an artist, but sometimes I find it kind of relaxing to try to draw random faces in ibis paint. So I'm very happy that I've found your channel - even such a non-artist like me can now pretend that he knows how to draw things) thank you so much, I'm looking forward for new videos!

I wanna know how you get to the point where it’s less line art-y. You do line art, then base color under that. Then do you do a new layer ontop of all that to start shading the hair?
