Thats cool but it would defeat the story of one punch man. From the start, no one knows that saitam is super strong unless they saw them in action. If he can project his memory then he could just do it to promote saitama. Sure, they can claim it is fake but it would make others aware how strong he is. Even though king and silver fang knows he is strong, they dont know how strong he is. Only genos knows. That is the point of the story atleast.

@@raymatp1 it would defeat the recurring gag, but that is not the point of the story at all, ONE has explained before that meanwhile almost every story starts with his protagonist weak and the whole story is about how he grows and fulfills his goals, one punch man is the oposite, it is an story that starts with a protagonist that has already reached the end of his story arc, he reached his peak and is now living his "happy ending" where everthing is boring now that he has done everything he wanted, imagine dragon ball but there where absolutly no big villan in the same power level after freezer in namek and goku returned to earth, goku was the strongest by a lot and there would be nothing for him to do but to train maindlessly without any exitement, it would be torture and that is what saitama lives, that is one punch man at its core and not just a comedy, nobody knows what saitama can do or has done but saitama would not win anything from everyone knowing either besides being anoyed constantly, as he said "a true hero doens't need glory" he just wants to live his life in peace and boredom being a hero for fun on the side

You can say that Genos was there with Saitama for the whole fight between Saitama and Garou. So Genos has every reason to believe that Garou will be a repeater of the deeds he has done, especially since Garou doesn't remember the future events like Genos does. Saitama's memory is still questionable as to whether or not he remembers the future at this point. It could be a delayed reaction to the event itself.

If Saitama remembered what kind of power growth he had we would've all been satisfied, let alone if everyone knew what he did to save them all too, but that's what most studios do. Maybe witness a similar experience with all his close friends being in serious danger will cause him to regain his future memories and possibly get a huge power boost due to that sealing all his future selves power. Or maybe similar to how Genos learn of what happened in the other timeline coming into contact with another item from that future will cause Saitama to remember. Genos did see the time travelling, I mean he even said it has been confirmed a new Saitama was separated from him upon going back in time, and thus the original original is still there with nothing left. I mean it would be nice to see what happens to him... Could he be persuaded by god to go back in time for real and be the evil Saitama everyone is talking about? Anyways I think Genos is reflecting on the fact that Garou never experienced that epiphany and is therefore bound to repeat. Or he is foreshadowing something? Who knows? But I really hope Murata and One won't suddenly stop this before it all comes to an end.

With Garou, I feel like where this is heading, Garou gets a chance to go down any kind of different path now from that one. My guess is he’s gonna keep having similar experiences where he finds himself and what he truly wants to be for the greater good of mankind but before he really makes the decision, god will try to grant him power again but that time Garou will be more in tune with himself and the fact that Garou would never “borrow” power to begin with. I think I understand now why he ended up doing that in the alternate future, because Garou already lost faith in himself and wanted to die by that time anyway so he metaphorically gave his soul to the devil, or as he’s called here “god”. It didn’t matter to him what it was at the time. So I think next time Garou will tell him to shove it up his ass. I’m calling it with this theory

Most monster or people fear you so much that they don't even bother to fight or go against you, but when you found someone with enought confidence, Luck just comes and saves your ass, and "beating" them by that method just makes you "fear" stronger.

Saitama didn't fully time travel, there's just a part of him that separated, like a clone and that was the one that time travelled.
So there's still another saitama in a parallel universe that:
    - lost genos and king
    - didn't save anyone because he arrived late
    - drove by guilt, and had actually felt an emotion which was malice
    - pissed that his home was destroyed

Initially, King was credited for using the cannon against platinum s and evil ocean. As flashy flash said, they didnt see who punched garou but only saw he was naked. If King was naked, everyone would think he was the one who punched him. That aligns with his story and even aligns with him deciding to save garou from other heroes.

Garou has always been right. The “heroes” aren’t heroes. They, are workers. And that’s if I give them the best option for what they are. They do their job for pay.
At they’re worst, as terrible as they are, narcissistic. There isn’t any professional capacity for what they are.
If we define them as “Heroes” any and all definitions of the word, the only one they fit would be “Someone who performs dangerous acts for pay” and that’s something that only exists in particular realities.
And they barely fit that at all. What we’ve seen of them, it’s always just a group of thugs. They kill monsters, like common mercenaries. Unlike professional merc’s, they don’t hide in the shadows and keep things professional, (not that PMC’s DON’T become dicks but that’s just how things are, they might, or might not be dicks)
No, they bask in admiration, and stoke their egos. The amount of damage they do in regular combat is a sickening display of how little they care. Saitama just is overpowered, when he swings, even holding back, he’s liable to level a city. So he lives in a place nobody else does, it’s cheap, and he won’t kill several people when he sneezes.
But the rest of the heroes? They arrive to a call, and start hunting the monster, blasting area obliterating attacks all over with no regard for human life.
Do they all do that? No. Lower class hero groups have shown coordination, with specialists who can evacuate civilians, heavy hitters to take down threats, tanks to take hits for their team and civilians alike.
We’ve seen some synergy. But it isn’t even remotely close to the norm. Take the Tank Top Crew. A group of muscle bound assholes, who punch things. When faced with an enemy, not a single one said “we should make sure the area is clear of civilians” they are a group of strong individuals, if they cared about people, they’d split the squad, into damage control, and damage dealers.
The Lead Tank Tops aren’t any better, certainly not “Leading by example” unless they intend to teach that everyone is inferior to them, and only they matter. When they face Saitama, which of course he shrugs off, they do it in a crowded street. With people watching, in order to try and put Saitama down, and make themselves look good. And yet, with the strength they had, if Saitama had decided to show off his speed, dodge a hit at the wrong time, they would have killed someone.
They, don’t care. Other heroes who don’t care are all over the place. I’d even argue Puri Puri Prisoner should start caring about others more. He seems like a mostly nice guy, but it never occurs to him that a giant naked man bounding through the streets, and through populated playgrounds, you know, full of children, isn’t a good thing. He cares more about himself, and what he wants, than people around him, it’s not like he couldn’t wear clothing that wouldn’t explode, this is a world of heroes, if he can’t get some durable clothing, that would be the biggest joke of the series. It doesn’t even need to be durable, just stretchy enough for his muscles. When clothing gets blasted off, that’s forgivable, it happens, but he literally rips his clothes off, getting naked is literally one of his power up moves.
Sure, from… Oh no I forgot his name, the guy with the muscles, the one with the sad backstory where Garou stops beating him up because he sees how scared he is. That guy, damn, why is his name just, not there in my head? Anyway, that guy came from a bad place, worked his way to his strength, you’d think he’d be empathetic towards people in a similar situation, but we don’t see that at all. Instead…. DARKSHINE, got it yes, is an S class hero, who doesn’t do much.
For Darkshine, I’d expect him to be backing some kind of anti bullying organization, but he doesn’t (unless I missed something but I don’t see Darkshine showing up and sitting in a tiny chair to give a speech in bullying being bad anywhere)
All they care about is their reputation, their pay, and killing monsters. With some notable outliers who are actually cool people. But not the A class who went after Garou that one time, all of them should stop being heroes. Regardless of if it is a villain or not, if they say there is a kid, a civilian, in the line of fire, you should check. Especially when you think you’ve got the advantage.
But my agreement with parts of Garou’s philosophy stands on a lot of solid ground, the heroes of this world are all kind of assholes. Except a few good ones, like Metal Bat, he seems like he actually gives a crap. He’s also not that smart buuut it’s okay. Hell even Pig God is less of an ass than most of them, and his power is eating, he’s the definition of gluttony, and he’s actually pretty chill, using his massive maw to protect others by having them climb inside him, not to mention there aren’t likely to be many civilian casualties when he shows up, he just grabs the monster and eats it.
Unless, hold on do we know of any time Pig God has accidentally eaten people?
I like this world, in many ways, it makes sense, most of the heroes are pompous assholes with no regard for human life. Which considering their power, the admiration they receive daily, makes sense, they need a hero therapist.

You forgot the other choice, letting a character like Garou win. If he succeeds, there won’t be heroes, there won’t be a kill or be killed world. There will be peace. Similar to how peace works in the real world.
Right now, everyone has the power to obliterate the planet, nobody really wants WW3 because it would be called World Ending War 1. The reason the world is as peaceful as it is, is a combination of FEAR, and diplomacy.
If Garou can provide the world with a collective fear, something everyone doesn’t want, that opens channels for diplomacy between monsters and humans, who are terrified of Garou. Or someone like Garou.
In the real world, we don’t have people and monsters who can level cities, and eat nukes. If we did, we would live in a similar dystopia.
Because there would be absolutely NOTHING to reign them in. Besides each other, and that’s not a good solution, that’s like, having Neo-Nazi’s be prison guards for Nazis. That’s an EXTREME example, but it just means that LITERALLY the only thing stopping them, is themselves.
The reason society is a bumbling mess, is because people are always willing to settle. “Lesser of two evils” “Devil you know”
I say fuck that, “Devil I don’t” because I don’t want to settle, I don’t want to give up on the IDEA that humanity CAN be better. That we can all be better. And my wish for the real world to be better, for people to be better, translates to the fiction I like.
I like OPM, and I like Garou because while he might be seen as a monster by some, he sees the corruption of the world, and instead of sitting down and feeding the status quo, he decided to NOT settle.

Also Saitama WAS the mvp manga/anime or at least one of them but shitty writing in the last chapter changed that when they decided to make Saitama forget everything and yet somehow Genos remembers everything

It's absolutely retarded in my opinion and while I love One Punch Man this is one thing that I absolutely hate about it more than anything in the world that level of writing is pathetic and idiotic and so is the author for writing shit like that into story all the time 😤
Shit like this is what's eventually gonna make the series feel stale, boring, unfunny and all-round 100% mediocre compared to literally anything other manga/anime and it just pisses me off because One Punch was for sure one of the greatest at one point in time and now... The writing is just purely fucking sloppy

Honestly I prefer the 'blah blah blah' version in regards to time travel, the more you explain something, the more people will pick it apart even in a silly comic like OPM where you're not supposed to take it all seriously. Instead of writers trying to satisfy people by explaining everything about their version of time travel (like the avengers for instance using the microverse) it's better to usually just give some information but skip some of the details and leave it for people to bicker about.

Did everyone notice how King was one of a very few people who could withstand the massive amount of radiation with only the strongest people found.
What if King isn't actually weak. What is king is actually strong but not in physical strength but mental and emotional strength.
What is the only going keeping King physically weak is his own fear of being caught and that in order push his mental and emotional strength to the limit over and over
But if king just put that fear into physically training, he could be extremely powerful as his ranking is
