yeah wild.. I started complimenting my wife's choice of fragrance because of the unusually sparkly smell (I couldn't describe it in terms of smelling like anything I recognised... but if it is was visual, it would be "incredible sparkle") til after a few weeks I realised I could smell it when she wasn't around, after a workout, and it was from my own armpits (was a couple months into a SBG clean carni reset at the time, after 2 years of unguided roughly carnivore keto). The rest of the time I didn't smell of anything - so I figured, it makes sense if you're eating right that you won't be giving off smells that make you obvious to food that will escape if it smells you... and cranking out funtime pheromones is good for signalling healthy mating value.

Lee... this is a crazy idea not to brush teeth.... but, I also have thought about this and I stopped brushing my teeth regularly a few years ago now. I have been mostly carnivore now for exactly six years. I do brush about once a month now. I have had no cavities at all. Flossing is different for me because I have some little gaps between my teeth where stuck meat particles need to be helped out a bit with flossing. I have thought about getting a proper dental cleaning and scaling, just because, but it costs me $500.00 here in Canada to have my teeth cleaned as I don't have a Dental plan. I found this video interesting.. I never shower... I hate showers... but I do have a good long soak in the bath at least twice a week... I don't really understand not washing the body at all... Ever since I went carnivore, I have had no body odor ... no under arm odor at all... No more need to use any kind of deodorant.

I stopped brushing 4 months ago. The bacteria in the mouth devour any meat stuck between teeth. I stopped flossing also, as it created spaces between my teeth before I went carnivore. When meat is stuck, I leave it now. It's a bit uncomfortable for only a minute. But there has been no issues with leaving the meat there. I often wonder if the bacteria like the extra food;)

Plus back then when braces were place a band was put around each tooth, which caused spaces between teeth. Been through about four waterpics.

I guess hunter gatherers would need 'heightened senses' but dozy Neolithic farmers would just need something to keep their spirits up thru the endless monotony,
and overbearing overlords and granary raiders, so for them soupy beers with bits in it, and then teeth worn down to the gums from grit.
So maybe that's why our senses all get heightened and were smarter, in case we take up hunting haha.

My daughter only brushed about 1-2x a week because we just forgot. Her friend demanded she went to the dentist after learning of this and that she hadn't been to a dentist in four years, because he would brush and floss and would alway have atleast one cavity every time. But she had no cavities-ever. Not carnivore, no flouride toothpaste, and sugar at least once a week sometimes more. We ate more like a Weston A Price diet. It isn't just carnivore. But she never drinks soda either. But even though her and I don't brush regularly, our teeth are not as white as this mans. And I love sleeping on the floor. I'm 56, and it was very painful for about 3 months, but I would never go back, it just feels very theraputic.

My fifteen-year-old son didn't brush his teeth, I had no idea he wasn't brushing his teeth and when we went in for a 6 month check-up the dentist said he had the healthiest teeth he'd ever seen. I was shocked! I brush my teeth with hydrogen peroxide, no toothpaste and I floss once or twice a day. I have had issues with bad bacteria eating away at my teeth. My son eats clean, no sugar and doesn't brush or floss and has perfect teeth. I just started a very strict carnivore diet so I will stop brushing my teeth, I only wash my hair once a week. I have thick long healthy hair. I am in my 50's.

@blaiseV looking forward to you making videos about mental health. I have a topic that I think you would be interested in exploring. I am treating my 18 year old son with ketogenic therapy for his schizophrenia since January. He is very, very sensitive to fluctuations in ketones and just the slightest drop I notice he is talking more with his voices and pacing more. Currently he is mute and still not fully aware of everything that has happened to him or I don’t believe he is aware he has schizophrenia so all of my treatment for him is what I am monitoring (definitely eliminates a placebo effect since he is unaware of why he is eating keto/carnivore, he is also not on any medications). One time he went out of ketosis he went into full manic psychosis and jumped out of a window and broke his hip. I got him back into ketosis within 24 hours and he is calm again with just voices and some cognitive/negative symptoms. What I am wondering is because of his age, and he is still growing (which I know he is and will continue to grow like his brother into his 20’s) I feel like his extreme sensitivity to ketones is because I am fighting or working against the natural insulin resistance state that comes with puberty? Dr. Ben Bikman has talked about puberty and pregnancy being natural and healthy insulin resistance states in life but this concept has not been addressed yet in using metabolic therapy for mental illness. I would love to see you research this topic along with brain plasticity at this age and metabolic therapy at this age and how that also can be beneficial in helping to permanently heal his schizophrenia but also can potentially cause symptoms during the process because of the brain changes. He has had amazing progress but his symptoms still are strong at times and he has went through times of seizures and Parkinson’s type symptoms along his journey. I feel like I am watching his brain heal before my eyes watching him going through such a wide range of symptoms through this process. More research in using metabolic therapies in mental illness and the possible different implications due to higher brain plasticity and insulin for teens still growing would be a great topic!
