Hi Fonnie👋 Love those cuttings! I tried searching for some of the cuttings, I mostly use Etsy, but those particular Hoyas were either too expensive or not available! I will keep trying. In this video I love the lacunosa ST2020, tannaensis. The Paul Shirley cutting I purchased 2 weeks ago. And I like the Inflata from the New 11 Hoyas video. Thanks for sharing! 💚 Dee, New York USA
I agree. Our US prices are off the charts not to mention if we have any of these offered here they are 1 node 1 or 2 leaf cuttings for 2x-7x the price she paid. It really is out of control. These are such beautiful generous cuttings & plants.
@@debbiefox6846 Indeed. They know this genus is popular and they're taking advantage. I would spend days trying to find reasonably priced hoyas semi rare and rare. There are a few I've been watching and it's crazy. It's frustrating that it's become a side business for many. It's either purchase one over budget or purcase three within budget that are small one or two nodes. ☹️
I agree with Ria Whetstone. Would definitely not cut the stem on the woody fuzzy Hoya. I would also use rooting hormone & put it in perlite. These types of stems are notorious rotters. You may have to try several times to root this and you want the best chance possible. I have had a much harder time with stems like these.
I wouldn’t shorten the thuathienhuensis if I were you 😅 Fuzzy stems tend to rot a lot before rooting in my experience. I’d end up cutting a lot of rot off before it roots. I think Betsy begonia said that’s a thirsty one, but am not sure
I was very nervous when I got it. It took a really long time to develop growth point in the zip lock bag. But the surprising thing I’ve noted is that, it actually likes room temperature and room humidity more. Once I placed it out of the zip lock bag, it has produced 2 growth points😀 and now it’s growing really well.
Beautiful cuttings, I love your videos❣️ Thank you for sharing 💚
Thanks so much 😊
How lucky you are!!!

I’ve noted that there are so many Hoyas varieties in the US though. Do agree prices are astonishing though 😨

Hoya Thuathienhuensis took the longest to root instead. I’m so glad to report it has growth 3 new leaves now ☺️
Paul Shirley didn’t seem too jazzed about his particular hoya 😅
Such fantastic cuttings and I am kinda jealous. Nothing like this available here in the us that I have found. Congrats
There are many new species you can find offers in the US though 😁
