    Hi Fonnie, I absolutely love the sigillatis varieties!! I have the regular one, Alas river, AH-001, GPS 7240, and sigillatis Borneo. They are all under grow lights now, but grew outside over the summer. I definitely notice more distinct maroon coloration under the grow lights. I hope you’re doing well Fonnie!

      I’m using the Barrina T5s for all my sigillatis right now :)

    I appreciate the display of the types of hoya selecting a particular group. Very fond of silver types. Please do coverage on the lacunosa types. I have several rooted cutting. Some are gaining momentum then there are some stunted in their growth. You gor me liking the sigilatis.

    I really enjoyed this content and all the informations that you've provided 💚, i only have 3 clones of sigillatis. The 1st one is sp GPS 7240 that I got from Camilla, it grew so much and flowered one month ago. Then i have the sigillatis borneo and the EPC 960 . I love them all and they're growing peduncles actually at the same time, can't wait to make a comparison 😊

    I’d watch anything you choose to share, but yes, lacunosa collection would be grand. Or krohniana, if you have several to share. Perhaps various Hoya carnosa varieties, even though many are pretty common.

    Since you have so many hoyas in your collection, maybe you can give us content on the colors of their flowers...I was attracted to these hoyas because of their foliage but I also want to collect them in their different shades of color...and also by the size of their flowers, some are in round shape or clustered, some are bigger in a few numbers...also talk to us about which ones are prolific bloomers, and which ones like to flower in succession...I'm all about the color, size and shapes of the flowers 😂😂😂

    Very original video ❤ love it! Can you may do the finlaysonii complex? Or regular, Splash and Variegated of one plant like polyneura or Gunung Gading? Just examples, I'm not sure about your collections.

    I have the VL 9. It is in my cabinet and is a pretty slow grower. The leaves on mine are significantly smaller than yours.

    • @tfyfonnie
      @tfyfonnie  8 месяцев назад

      Really? What conditions are you providing for the smaller leaves size?

    • @kathleenwarner4046
      @kathleenwarner4046 8 месяцев назад

      70-90% humidity, ~3000 lux, with lightdims brand white dims (from Amazon) over light bar. Smaller sized leaves were not my goal. Thanks for the great content; I especially appreciate the close up pics and your full descriptions of the plants.

    My regular sigillatis is as sun stressed as yours that is exposed to sunlight. Mine has always been under a Sansi grow light.I am guessing that it has to do with the grow light. My Sansi grow light seems to produce the sun stressing of the actual sun. I have just the regular sigillatis.

    • @tfyfonnie

    I am just curious what you mean by "varieties"; are these subspecies, hybrids between subspecies, cultivars or something other? I see different terms being used in the hobby/field like "clones" which to me means a propagation of multiple genetically identical plants. It all gets confusing and sometimes it isn't clear what exactly people mean. The word "variety" is too general a term and could mean many different things.

    • @tfyfonnie
      @tfyfonnie  8 месяцев назад +1

      That’s also my struggle, not sure which ones are ssp. or cv.. so I chose to use the general term “varieties” that covers everything 🌱

    Love all these sigillatis clones! I only have one so far, the most common one, but I find it amazing! I like this type of content, where you show us differences between similar Hoyas and even on the same plant, differences due to growing conditions. I would be curious if other species also exhibit major leaf difference due to lower light, for example some of the veiny ones, like meredithii, Gunung gading, if they start to go all green in lower light in room conditions in winter?

    • @tfyfonnie
      @tfyfonnie  8 месяцев назад

      Glad you enjoyed the video!:) my sigillatis regular that is next to my south facing window has it’s redness reduced during winter (while much less sunlight is provided).
