Tbh this Lumiere sounds a lot more cheerful and less sleazy than the original. He just has that sort of positive vibe you'd get from some spiffy man who's literally lit up all the time.

I'm the only one who found frustrating the fact that there was a whole and expectacular and colorish number played by objects... yet Emma (Belle) couldn't show any emotion besides "Oh, I'm gonna smiles like... i'm always smiling, I guess"? Other than that, I loved that scene.
The focus is on the objects not on her, the directors also said that she meeds to smile more simpler so that it makes this surprised creeped out vibe (singing objects eh? who would have thought) Also she is the only human in behind the scenes there are cameras floating and thats it, shes smiling there all alone for roughly 7 minutes of take with out absolutely anything but a long table and cameras.

7 months ago, I sang this for my school audition, first ever musical theatre audition and I got LeFou. What a dramatic 5 months of rehearsals it was.
