A Walk To Remember gets overlooked a lot I think, but once you can look past all the religious overtones, it's a really enjoyable story with great singing.

I watched Tangled in 3D at the movie theater. I was blown away by this scene with all the flying lanterns everywhere. I definitely felt the magic. I remembered thinking, wish Walt Disney was here to see this. To see how the magic of Disney has evolved. I’m sure seeing how far it has come, since his time, he would certainly be proud.

Tangled is essentially the epitome of Disney, in my opinion. It PERFECTLY captures a traditional Disney love story and villain, but adds all these amazing extra layers that were sort of missing before. One of my very favorites!

My opinion:
Talent wise (the singers talent)- I’m a major theater geek, so from my perspective they’re both *utterly amazing* and have very different yet amazing talents. Idina Manzel has a very belty voice which is really amazing and Mandy More has such a great soprano voice I think they’re equally as great
Song-writing wise: I’d have to give this one to Tangled. The harmonies match so well together and the only negative thing I have to say is that I wish it was longer!! 😊😁 that’s my opinion being a theater and Disney nerd 😂

The ending of this song is so so good for so many different reasons. I personally love the songs that end with the female voice in the lower harmony and the male voice in the upper melody. Also though, what it represents for the film is just beautiful. It’s like they’ve switched places. Flynn helped Repunzel go on her adventure and find out who she really was, while Repunzel reminded flynn of the innocence that he’s been missing in his life. They taught each other something new, and showing through the music is just beautiful. I’ve always been drawn to Tangled because it’s much more character driven compared to other disney movies that focus on cool visuals or an interesting plot. In Tangled, we actually get to see how Repunzel and Flynn grow together, and this is the result

Tangled has such an amazing soundtrack, it upsets me it didn't get more recognition. This song especially is one of the best I've heard from Disney. Mandy Moore's and Zachary Levi's voices complement each other so well while matching the characters and the atmosphere perfectly, which, imo, is something we haven't really gotten since Lea Salonga and Brad Kane in "A Whole New World" (my absolute favorite Disney song). The melody and lyrics completely match how it feels to be at peace and in love.
tl;dr I love this song, everything about this movie is so beautiful, and I wish it were more popular.

I have seen Chuck and tangled both in my childhood but I never knew that Chuck was eugene/flynn rider and that he has such a beautiful voice. I am in tears. Both of them are such good men. Zachary Levi plays the best roles fr.

This song came up when we exchanged the rings. My now husband was my neighbor from across the street. We would talk across the street and look into each other’s windows. then he became my best friend for 5 years. And then, love hit us. That song: “All those years watching out the window. All that time never even knowing just how blind I’ve been.” Yes. This was the right song for our wedding ❤️

The-Kris555 and here I assert that it is not overshadowed. ISTL is so pulchritudinous in rhyming as well as meanings, that it can never be subdued by any other song, newer or older.
"I like this one." She is one of the reasons why Tangled is my favourite Disney movies. It's a movie that doesn't force feminism or (fake) gender equality down your throat. It GENUINELY addresses it by showing that both genders can equally kick-ass. Not one or the other. BOTH. The story is perfect, the comedy is great, the actors and actresses are fantastic, the plot never drags and works amazingly. Plus, frying pans? Right? Who knew?! (And for those that don't know Mulan is probably my second favourite because that's another kick-ass story that doesn't favour one gender. It's also got an inspirational soundtrack that just makes you feel involved with even the most minute of characters.)
I like mulan but rapunzel tops her for a few reasons personally for me but the main one is mulan no matter how many people say it IS NOT A FRACKIN PRINCESS I love her but she never became royalty she’s just a badass

@@nightowl6349 Mulan actually is a Disney princess. There are 3 rules that classify the characters as one, and there is a rule made specifically for her (she’s that great). I’m attaching a link that explains it :) Mulan, Rapunzel, and Tiana are all tied as my favorite, I just can’t choose between them. But yeah I remember watching the linked video around 4ish years ago and I searched specifically for it haha

Just wanted to also point out how warm and silky Zach’s voice is. It’s a gorgeous contrast to Mandy’s perfectly soft and clear voice. Stunning.
