The sound design on the Evrima ceras is such a masterpiece. The bass under the chuffing sound is absolute 🔥!! It sounds like a male lion's roar.
My favorite is the charge bite sound, its so siiick
Man, I cant wait for the new update. Hope it makes crocs less overpopulated (Im so done with being cannibalized) and the map more alive. Also Cerato's skin looks cool.
Tbh, You'll get the same cannibalistic style with ceratosaurus

fr every croc i come across as a little juvie fucking kills me. i once met a sub that was friendly at first but then made some excuse like “can i eat you sorry im starving” and grabbed me lol
@@marimationsowo "most" of the deinos i met were friendly, thoose ones who ain´t show their intentions before get close, ( most of the times they went directly to you, if they doubt they´re usually friendly, if not just run, they gonna lose their stamina attacking at you and you just need to keep swimming, or get in to land if you´re a juvie ). If you see more than one are probably not friendly
I do not canibalize, you can not die as a deino if you don´t want to, but people just don´t know how to hunt, you must play the patience game patrolling some spots, slowly to conservate stamina. a lot of deinos i met in officials just stay there landed and chating, sudenly they get low on food and coop to kill another deino cause is easier than killing something else (last one who comes or that one who not speak at all) then repeat the process
best place to grow a deino is everypart just do not trust in other deinos bigger than you or two friends or more playing together, i kinda enjoy more the process to grow a deino than beeing an adult, is more exciting

1st tryout of Cera today and not even 3 mins after fresh spawn, I managed to kill a FULL grown utha (omni now I think) all by myself next to a body I found.
Wasn't expecting to win but still had 30% health after the fight!

I love Cera. they have a long hunger time too so they can go quite a while without eating. a lot of people will leave a cero alone while it's near a corpse because it has reduced damage while eating and it's usually better to let them have a rotten meal than to risk that infectious bite
This is why i main cerato.

Me, a Stego player, seeing a Ceratosaurus: "Awwww, cute. I will name you Charlie."
I've noticed that some Stegos get killed rather easy by Ceras. Somehow I have spent roughly 6 hours on the same server (fully populated server) as a Stego and I've already killed 3 raptors and 2 Ceras. The raptors were harder to hit and put up a fight before dying by my tail.

How can i see my health there is no heart when i go on his stats

By bones giving all 3 diets, how does that work when a hex is missing? Does it just fill with whichever diet is missing? How does it work when you have no diets?
Priority diet is always S from what I checked
and if you have no diets at all, if will give all 3, the S, the dots and the lines
If you bite with a charged bite, does the bacteria reach the food level faster or not?
If i recall correctly, the devs were looking into it, but last time I checked it didn't applied more. Was the same amount... 🤔
i've noticed in the beginning of the video that ur cera has red marks all over it's body, does it mean something or is it just part of the skin?
It's actually a little bug with the "blood mouth"! The blood spreads to the body instead of being just on the face
So does the bacteria deal tick damage like a bleed or is it only to cause vomiting and stuff?

Cerato can't Puke if bited by another cerato, cause it's immune, but can Cerato Puke by eating a lot? thx for the video!

Can I suggest something? Can you add all damage values to all different attacks to all your guides? That would be very helpful.
For example cera bite it says its 150, but thats im guessing is just standart LMB bite to body. Can you calculate how much is alt bite and how much is full charged bite to body and show us those, that would be very valuable and very important information to have.
For example if you alt bite adult cera body and he has 75% HP left then that means 25% of 1300 = 325 dmg ....
And so do that for all different bites for all dinos, maybe even the old ones cause i still dont know how much each dinos dmg is to this day

Those type of attacks are really difficult to gather information, occasionally you bite the wrong hitbox and the multiplier changes. It's better if you see the value itself on fights, which i plan to do videos about. One thing is for sure, a charged bite of cerato can instakill an Omniraptor

What do we know about its combat?
Should i be scared of an average Carno or utahs?
Carno can kill Cerato if it plays more with the charge. I saw some carnos facetanking (with good HUNGER) and winning the fight;;
though I myself killed two carnos without any problems, they barely did damage to me. One thing is for sure, Cerato is not a good dinosaur to wander alone, you need at least one friend to improve your safety
Are there scars on your cera? Around 0:50 I noticed dark red spots/marks
its blood from eating corpses ^^
Can it overeat like the Deino and not vomit?

Just vomit sickness, which is a lot of debuffs shown in yellow (stamina/hunger/thirst)

- go to steam and download VRCHAT, its a free game
- launch VRchat once
- close it
- open The isle and have fun

hmm i don't quite remember... i think carno bite force is 175 or something, and his weight hasn't been touched i assume..

@@KougaArt started playing evrima yesterday so am still trying to catch up with everything xD. Played Cerato but died to a speedhacking pachy that decided to wipe the map from every player. So a juvi pachy killed 6 carnis including me. Quite a day lol

is it true that you get a buff on defense when you are near a corpse and that automatic 3 call starts? and does this also happen when you just press 3? (most likely not)
yeah, i made a specific video to cover this Buff. In short, depending on the size of the body, the cera can take from 0% to 50% or a bit more Damage Reduction. ONLY if he stays near the body range.

My settings are mostly all Epic, i don't use any antialising and my Vsync is enabled, such as FPS cap at 60

The guide for fighting carnos as cerato is to easy all of them make it so we see it coming and if one is charging just dodge by running sideways, if it turns u turn to easy to dodge, with the Carno with acceleration delay we can easy tail ride or charge bite, Carnos should be scared

This looks overpowered, between the huge overpopulation of deinos and this I don't know how they think this will be balanced.
stress test servers are open for everyone to test, Incase you're curious how good cerato does with the new buffs
I always lived Cerato in the isle. I was very upset with it in legacy due to being almost unplayable and free food for other dinos.
I'm tempted to re-download evrima and try it out. Hopefully he's much better.

im really confused....
regular bite for me is literally the alt bite.. if i try to change setting to use a regular bite i just get the retarded alt bite that makes me inch forward each bite... it makes it impossible to kill anything smaller then myself.
it was rigged for alt bite on spawn and no matter how many times ive changed settings i still get the alt bite for regular bite so i cant even open a carcass for organs.
i dont know if theres some other setting im missing or what... i hate this fucking shit update...
is ANYONE else having problems with cerato having an instant alt bite as its primary??
It's a new feature devs implemented to all dinosaurs, to disable it go to:
settings > gameplay > ENABLE manual alt bite
