    Thanks for this video, I was trying to read what Lowe's said on their website and it was like reading Greek. This was very simple, straightforward, and turns out I was doing it "almost" correctly... so I'm glad I double-checked. :)

    Before doing all of the measuring, I decided to see if my failed windows had a size tag still attached. Turned out - they all did!

    Doesn't show clearly what you mean by measuring the depth of the jamb. The linked document, which is supposed to go into more detail, doesn't mention measuring the depth at all.

    It's not clear i didn't know where did you measure you circled the 72 inches but it was 69.5 and I guess there is no need to make it difficult by measuring from each corners

    When you bend the tape measure at the end we can’t tell what the measurement is, explain that, and zoom the camera in so we can see what you’re doing! And SLOW down!

      @anthonysousa4678 3 дня назад

      When you order windows at a millworks store (or millworks department in a big box store), they will take the width of drywall or other finish materials into account after you simply measure from one finished side to the other. You just tell them how it is finished (drywall, wood, etc.) and they figure it out from there.
