I must compliment Aamar Ali Jan for his lucid comments about US politics and elections.I have been following US elections essentially through CNN and have been listening to comments of experts on both sides of the political divide.I must say Aamar and Taimur both of you have covered it very well,perhaps better than those American cocky experts.

Merely having someone from an ethnic/racial minority as president or a woman as prime minister makes no difference if the structures which carry out their economic and political exploitation remain intact. But the problem with China is that the Chinese regime/establishment is much more strict and cruel, cutthroat than any western democratic establishment. At least you can somehow argue/reason with the west, people can still protest and oppose the policies of the western regimes including the foreign immigrant/expats. But Chinese regime isn't accustomed to hear any argument. As much as the past PDM Govts are responsible to turn CPEC into a fatal debt trap for Pakistan, Chinese regime is equally responsible for that. China had lots of excess money in reserves , a large population that they were struggling to employee them all so they came up with a brilliant idea of belt and road initiatives in corrupt 3rd world countries. We have seen what happened in Sri Lanka, what happened to Gwadar port which is still largely empty. China gave huge sums of loans to 3rd word countries to build massive 6,8 lane roads, highways, extravaganza airports,railways which those countries doesn't have the capacity to utilize. Especially the most lucrative power generation projects ever in Pakistan. The loans were disbursed by the Chinese banks, contracts given to the Chinese companies with 0 transparency and competitive biddings, and Chinese workforce was used to build those projects except for low paying labour jobs. So China earns interests on the loan payments, they already have siphoned back all the money through the Chinese construction companies and created jobs for the Chinese people. Chinese companies earned ridiculous amounts of profits due to lack of transparency in the bidding process. All that at the expense of the host country. All the host nation gets is a huge concrete mess they can't utilize and the sweet money laundering worth of kickbacks for their politicians and Govt officials.
Respectfully I disagree Trump is not racist he is just a politician who is just doing politics. I have been following trump shows since 2007 he did not show any tendency of racism .
Also Trump/Elon has plan to invest on AI / Hightech industry not on making low value added industry. Although it is an uphill task but they are going to do that. Keep an eye on Elon musk.

However, Dr Taimur contradicts himself when he claims US universities are the best in the world while admitting that Kamala, a product of those universities, could not even match ideas with a grade eight opponent. So, no, US universities are not the best. Far from it. His guest offers excellent analysis of shifting US dynamics. But on Pakistan, he suggest "we" must change. Not realising the military ruling pakistan is an arm of the US empire. A very loyal arm.
