Hi Jeremy. Nice buy. About the #29 Fire Pumper, That Is A 29C3. The C1 had Denver decal, The C2 had shield decal, the C3 had no decal. You did well, as I could tell most were in near mint to mint condition. Personnaly I have collected Matchbox Regular Wheels for over 60 years, and have one of every variation, every accesory pack, every collector catalog, and Model of Yesteryear. I'm retired now, and this still keeps me busy, and out of my wife's way. Thanks for sharing....MIKE
This is my weakness its my biggest problem that I’m trying to work thru I just can’t help my self from buying these little cars busted up or perfect they all end up in my bag and I just can’t help my self any place I go there just the most beautiful thing all together the colors the shapes all the models there is always a place for more
I like the “junk yard” ones, too. They can have a natural patina that is nice. One day maybe I’ll make a video of some of my favorites that are beat up.
What a great find. They all look like they're in very good shape, and were worth what you paid. Thanks for the history background. Your platform was fun and interesting..
The original tires do become loose...a small amount of Elmer's is what I use to glue them.the Caddilac ambulance came with a guy on a stretcher that went in the back. The horse truck came with two white horses in different poses...the horses were larger for the yellow pull behind horse trailer.
I have most of those that survived my "WILD~CHILD" childhood through the 60s, in pretty good shape... Since I rediscovered them packed away very secure and neatly back in 1995, I have still collected diecast of various brands and my collection has grown to approximately 13,000 cars and trucks. A fantastic hobby full of fun and excitement...
think i had that superfast fieldcar with the skinnier wheels. it came as a set with the yellow motorcycle trailer and the honda bike. you did some nice purchases. thnx for showing
The field car was the first Matchbox car I bought with my own money. Wish I still had it. I thought the horses went with the float not the trailer. I’m probably wrong.
Those hubs on the field car and other models that Lesney Matchbox made with similar hubs are notorious for the plastic hubs shrinking slightly as the plastic ages so it is common to find that the tyre becomes lose with time.
great score man...i have some additional info for ya...the 18 field car with green hubs is rare...the 72 jeep also came with a white interior and its rare...the 17 horsebox with the black cattle goes with the 37 cattle truck ...i think the later superfast had black cattle but the regular wheels had white cattle...number 30 8 wheel crane was produced from 1965 to 1970...it was never discontinued and then brought back in 1970 as a superfast...it was made from 65 to 70 then converted...it also can come with a red hook...many variations to this one but i wont go into it here...the 29 fire pumper with denver was in a recessed panel...you can see recessed panels on the one you have on the sides behind the raise panel..the one you have has whats called a raised panel...the 2 mercedes trailer has a horse that goes with the 17 horsebox and the cattle should go with the 37 cattle truck...the 55 police car also came with a blue dome light..its hard to find...let me know if you need anymore info...be glad to help you
What a nice group of vintage Matchbox toys. Those were good years for Lesney. Regarding the Girder Truck with the original rubber band, just make sure it is not attached to the model's paint.
Marty's Matchbox Makeover on you tube has videos on a lot of old Matchbox vehicles he has re stored. Most I've seen are from a few years ago. He has re stored some of the one you just got and talks about them. Check him out.
Yeah, loose tire are normal. The hubs shrink over time. The same matchbox with metal hubs keep the tires on. Proof that it’s the plastic hubs that shrink.
Age has allot to do with the swelling and shrinking of plastic parts, tires, rims and seats on these older models. I removed all of the loose tires from the rims and added a small drop of super glue to the rims and replaced the tires. Problem solved. As far as loose rims, I would take some "J B Quick and mix the hardener and very carefully squeeze some in between the axel and rim hole with the point of a tooth pick. I rolled the car easily until the J B Quick set up and when it dried completely the rims were more secure on the axel and still rolled freely.
These Models are much more beatiful than today's boring hotwheels...

That trailer caravan is my favorite! I love how the top comes off to show the interior 😍
It was pretty cool!
@@ComAndCollectedFastLanewagon type of vehicle ?
The smaller horses that came with the Mercedes Trailer are the correct ones for your #17 Horse Box. Nice group, and have fun collecting!
Thanks for the awesome show. They are all super cool. Have a great day.

My favorite ones are the Mercedes coach and the Cadillac ambulance

A big nostalgia buzz from that selection especially for me the Field Car, the Mercedes Coach, the Cadillac Ambulance and the 8 Wheeled Crane.
Congratulations! ! ! GREAT FIND and addition to your collection. Tires are always loose or missing.
My brother and I had virtually all of these. I can't explain it, but seeing the Field Car always gives me a warm feeling!
that camper is very cool, I would have loved that back in the day.

Thanks! Glad to hear.

The wheels came when new

Very nice haul
Thanks for saying what you paid. Really helpful to me.
You're welcome! Thanks for stopping by.
What a nice group of vintage Matchbox toys. Those were good years for Lesney. Regarding the Girder Truck with the original rubber band, just make sure it is not attached to the model's paint.
The tires on that field car were plastic not rubber.
Beautiful opening my friend ! 😁🙏🙏
Thank you!
Nice minty models .If im not mistaken ,the Fire pumper truck had 3 variations to it
the field car wheels were loose and you can easily remove the rubber tires from the wheels. my girder truck was brilliant white
Bonito lote.👍🇪🇦
Thanks!
The CJ5 looks so realistic it's incredible the newer look of that vehicle does not look as realistic

Caddy Ambulance top 20 favorites ! then BP Wrecker
Every collector should own the Charlie mack book, 4th Edition.
Great cars! I recently just made a vintage hotwheels and matchbox video too. Most of the cars are in great condition
Nice video, brings back a lot of memories! The rubber band on the girder truck is almost certainly not original. It would have disintegrated by now!
Yeah, loose tire are normal. The hubs shrink over time. The same matchbox with metal hubs keep the tires on. Proof that it’s the plastic hubs that shrink.
Thanks!
That is the original rubber band on the girder truck. Some bands were tan.

I just recently uncovered some age old MATCHBOX cars that i had squirleed away
I got 'em at a thrift store
the horse box truck definitely had two white horses, the black carttle go in the. cattle truck, mgreen flatbed with yellow fence panels.
It’s normal for the field cars to have loose wheels over time. they expand for some reason, even on mint unplayed with cars. Those aren’t repros.
19:40 Barbie Is Soo Jelly!!
It have one fire pumper truck with Denver on the doors
Awesome!
No hubs shrink over time on most all old matchbox 😊
Always preferred matchbox to hotwheels
Time to play.!!!
8 wheel crane needs to raise its game!
Did it come in blue too?
Or am I totally wrong ?
Oh wow, turns out mine was shabbily re-painted! Turns out I don’t have a crazy variant 🫤
Not enough wheels! The shame!
Vintage yellow Ford Bronco Matchbox car
the mercedes trailer did not come with animals, it has a mustard colored removable canopy.
Your voice is very similar to the voice of the owner of the RUclips channel “The Trogly’s Guitar Show”!
