I absolutely love your videos. You don't waste anytime getting to the project at hand. You don't repeat the same thing over and over and over. Your work is absolutely beautiful and not difficult at all. You explain everything clearly and simple. I feel like I could and will make every creature you demonstrate on your channel. Keep up the hard work.
im pretty young, only 11 and only started crocheting about a month ago. i havent made many things because the tutorials on you tube take SO long to get tooth point. but your tutorials are absolutely amazing! my turtle came out s bit wonky but overall so cute. thanks for the great tutorial ❤️
i have always been nervous about amigraumi because it looked too complicated.... but i decided to challenge myself and this turtle was a little wonky with un symmitric front arms if you look closely but still it will always be memorable for being the first amigraumi project Thankyou sooooo much ❤❤
Thank you for the very cute and very easy-to-follow tutorial. I must say that I used non-plushie yarn and the part of the decreases on top of the wholes for the legs kicked my but and I had to redo it a few times because the stitches didn't add up. Still it's going to be a perfect gift for my nephew and I'm very grateful for you having made the time to share this with us.
@@jankapaluska3897 yeah if you miscounted somewhere is going to be off, I had that same problem so I just added a decrease and made it equal what it should've been and it turned out just fine
This was the first crochet plushie I ever made and it turned out amazing!!! The yarn I used wasn’t great for magic circles so I just chained 3 and then crochet into the first loop. Thank you!!!!
This is an amazing tutorial, but I have one qualm. Anybody watching this, if you’re not using plush yarn, be sure to keep your chains LOOSE when doing that part of the body. You’ll be thankful that you did later when you have to work over it.
Thank you i finally understand the pattern now. I was like wow she is going fast but now i know the pattern i can stop de video do a row and play again. I made one with the yarn i have to practice and now i am going to order the bulky yarn and eyes to make it complete ;-) Greetings from The Netherlands
Used size 6 yarn with a 5mm crochet hook and it turned out super cute! I used teal for the body and baby pink for the shell! (Himalaya dolphin baby yarn works wonders!)🩷
I just finished crochetting the shell, realizing way to late that I used the color for the body. Im so done with myself. However I do love this pattern so much I already made one of the small ones and it was so cute ❤️
I love your videos this pattern turned out amazing for me!! You definitely deserve more likes and followers! Your tutorials have really helped me progress ❤
I made this today and it turned out so cute! Super easy to follow along. I hope someone takes her home on Saturday when I have my market set up. ❤️ I look forward to making more!
@vanilliasso5938 When you're ready to make it, check if it's the size you want, if it's not, undo it and redo it by enlarging it. I use a fine yarn and, for example, in the first layers I would do single crochets + increase and in the next round I would add only single crochets and then come back to the tutorial or, I add more rounds of that type, if the last round I do is 8sc + inc, I do 10sc + inc
Hey Rose and Lily Crochet! I really (REALLY) wanted to recommend you to make a crochet tutorial on an alligator plush! My mom and baby sister have always had a thing for alligators and I really wanted to crochet one for them! I can't really find a pattern I like and I love your style of crochet! Please reply or take thought into it! Love your videos, love ya! Thanks!!!🐊😀❤
So I used baby bee yarn What do you recommend for different sizes? Like I was always told the bigger the hook the bigger your project and same thing with a smaller hook. Any insight into doing different sizes?
Do you ever flip the shell at all to make sure the right side is out? Or just leave it and add the legs and tail? I have seen people say there is a right side and wrong side.
Hello, je viens de terminer la tortue petit modèle en fil N°6 avec un crochet N°5 ( je n'ai pas de N°4,5 ) . Merci beaucoup pour votre tuto qui est très facile à suivre. Amicalement. Marie-claire.
Today is day 7 of learning how to chi get and I made this. Two days because it was my first time working with bulky yarn. I used sweet snuggles and the magic rings I had to start over at least 5 times but I finally got it and felt the stitches instead of looking. That bulky yarn is so hard to see the stitches
Hii! I love this turtle but don’t have a lot of yarn! Question, yt, what two colors should I use? I’ll probably use white and pink, but if anyone else has a replacement for white, it would be appreciated
Most likely. You’d have different looking appendages and would have less realty to secure the arms and legs. You would be more likely to put unnecessary stress on the attachment points on the arms and legs, therefore a less durable plushie
So I need some help! 😭 I followed this pattern and My turtle is smaller than expected as well I’m having issues where the making of the different loops to put the legs etc are.. I’m getting 4 spaces … idk where I went wrong and
I have a question.. I followed exactly what you said, and my piece is completely flat! It is not a bowl shape like yours.. what am I doing wrong?? Please someone help.. thank you in advance. I notice at row 4 yours starts to make the bowl shape..
Hey, help me please 😢 your pattern is clear and simple but I don't understand why I'm stuck at R15-16, at the end of R15 I think I'm doing everything correctly but I don't have the right number of stitches at the end..
I had a similar issue. Repeatedly. And couldn’t figure it out. Everything I found said I had extra stitches somewhere but it never made sense I can’t tell you that I ever found out what it was but I just kept redoing and redoing until it was flat. Unfortunately I waisted a bunch of yarn doing so and this turtle has taken me two months just to get to part 2 (I do work and have 4 children too) so if anyone has the answers I’d love to know as well so if I decide to make this guy again I hopefully won’t have the same issue.

ive never crocheted in my life and this was the first thing i made lol!! such a great tutorial
At the shell to body part at these holes something is bad, there is 66 pieces of that thing, but at the last step there is 7 for me and not 8🤔

I made this for my daughter and it turned out SO cute! These 2 videos were super easy to follow and I'll definitely be making more of your items.

I’ve just made this out of bernat blanket yarn and it’s huge. Great video as usual.
I did the same thing and I looked at hers compared to mine and went “mines a big baby lol” still a great tutorial though!
I have a question, when you made the shell, did it like become pointy before stuffing it? Or is that just mine? Coz I'm using the same yarn as you.
@@sunny_ddeonu at first it did so I started again and didn’t pull the magic ring so tight the second time. Hope this helps.
@carolinemarshall4860 oh this helps a lot thank you so much! I had redone it like 30 times and it keeps looking like a mushroom so I was very confused
This is my second jumbo turtle love this pattern

Mine don't look like a turtle😂
I loved this pattern! Would you consider making an even bigger version of it!? I wanna make a giant one now🤣
Multiply th pattern to whatever size you want
If you use extra chunky blanket yarn with the same pattern it will turn out the same but bigger!!
@@STAR_BØYez how?
@@vanilliasso5938 I usually will multiply by 2 and go from there

Thank you very much
I had tried to make this pattern but on round 15 I would get to the end of the round by the 5 sc after the sk 3 I made sure I did everything right too
She's so cute 👍
Omg I'm in love!!!😍 But could you try and make an even bigger turtle? I tried myself by doubling your pattern but failed miserably
I just used bulkier yarn and it made it massive
It’s just that the trickets yarn i Can get my hands on is the yarn she uses, but I just Wang a GIANT turtel hahahaha
A bigger hook will do it too with bigger yarn
Use a bulky yarn with 8mm hook size. I am and it is so big and cuddly.
(But follow pattern otherwise.)
Thank you 😊
Do you ever flip the shell at all to make sure the right side is out? Or just leave it and add the legs and tail? I have seen people say there is a right side and wrong side.
