    I knew when Ben Bryant won the job, then played poorly against Arkansas yet stayed the starter, that something had gone bad wrong with Prater.

    Fun fact my team against Evan when I was a freshman and he was a senior in highschool, I went to Indian Hill. We lost but not even 15 minutes after the game he posted a video of him and others in the Wyoming locker room chugging Bud light and Anheuser Busch.

      @@ScottFisherCFBdude was a beast at Tech. Had 1,000 yards receiving his freshman year. Went to LSU with a much less effective passing game. Got overlooked as soon as he stepped on Campus.
      I heard he was upset that the receivers coach at Tech was on his sass all the time even though he was our best receiver. Got tired of it and transferred

    The coaching staff totally failed to put him in the best position to win (they had already quietly accepted the Wisconsin job in mid-October). When they needed to bring Prater in, they didn't change the playcalling which didn't use as much QB motion or RPO as he needed.

      DR is much better than Pickett (small hands), year gets a bad rap from the biased national media. Look at their stats, and results… Kenny interception Pickett-pat yourself on the back Tomlin for passing on DR.

    Played Football with Evan in high school and gotta say he’s always been a great duel threat QB, and it’s a shame they rarely used him that way. If they gave him more RPO schemes he would of shown off his ability. Knowing him I’m sure he’ll be great at the receiving position and hopefully can show all the doubters who he really is 🗣️

    I think Evan is a great guy who has a good head on his shoulders, but I really don’t get why he was ever ranked so highly, he was a great athlete but his ability to process defenses just wasn’t it, I think he failed at qb because in high school he was the best athlete on the field, in college it changes so much

      The lower football divisions in Ohio allow for inflated high school stats for great athletes that just aren't D1 kids.

    • @ryanweaver5065
      @ryanweaver5065 Год назад +4

      @@tadroid3858 absolutely, Prater was playing with guys that were like 5’9 150 consistently, the Wyoming schedule gives you that, reminds me a bit of David Montgomery although he switched to rb and is obviously a success story but he was just a way better athlete then everyone else and he played D2 no D4

    Thanks, I was wondering what happened with Evan as QB, from your video it seems his injury and coaching was the problem. We’re 7 games in 2-5 and don’t look like Emory Jones is good enough for the Big 12. In my opinion

    Fickel did wrong by both Prater and Ethan Wright. Seriously, if you're not gonna play the guys, stop recruiting them. Let them play elsewhere. Brought in together and both completed wasted. Played a one year transfer over Evan? What a slap in the face. I lost all respect for Fickel.

    He was never going to be a QB in college. At least D1. Great athlete though. Wyoming has put d1 players out a lot lately and are in the 4th lowest division in Ohio HS football. Team I'm apart of played them the last 3 years. Seen them first hand. Look up cj Hester and the rb before him can't remember his name. Both beasts!

    Luke Fickell is what went wrong… never developed him because he was too fixated on PATHETIC Bryant. Another wasted talent by LF… Kiner would have experienced the same fate had LF stayed. Great for him that KS came along before it was too late.
