No one want's to admit how good Martin is, top 10 at his first olympia is his floor, top 6 is certainly a possibility.
Been a Nick walker fan for the longest time even til now. I admire his work ethic and hunger. But god damn some of Nick's fanbases are just blind. Even I don't think he'll crack top 5 with the level of bodybuilders we have currently let alone win the Olympia.
Martin is just superior in every way and has amazing flow. Nick is like a frankenstein mashup of body parts.

Nick could really benefit from the daily use of a waist trainer.
Roelly Winklaar, who was also heavily criticized for his blocky waist in the mid 2010's. Reduced his waist significantly thanks to a waist trainer, and had his best placing at the Olympia (3rd) in 2018.
Definitely agree, would be interesting to see him implement a vacuum as well. To be fair to Nick, he has never had a problem controlling the waist on stage, so we’ll just have to see

The biggest mystery is how Nick doesn't yet have a split in his abs. Even Martin has one. As a side note, man! imagine the effort and strength needed to control that midsection. No wonder has massive abs

I mean, I believe that Nick looks quite off, but that could be due to the lighting or something, I’m not sure, because it would really impress me if Nick didn’t come with good conditioning, since he literally always brings the best conditioning.

I have always said that `Nick is over-rated .. his physique is getting worse and now he is new era bubble gut brand ambassador too ... at best, he is presenting an ugly physique in this show .. it will be sad to see him winning as it will show the judges are again rewarding bubble guts ..
I think the glutes show has turned extrame with the guys lifting up their undies to make these more of a G-String .. not cool ...

Kind of a dumb comparison. Nick is flat/ watery and not peaked for the show. Martin is fry and full as a house.
I hate nicks bubble gut and wide waist but in some shots he is literally making Martin look like an amateur. It’s no comparison. Martin is still 2-3 years away from his best
All Nick has to do is control his waist, and it's not even a discussion.

@tonygoshive785 This video is of him first posing, so yeah, I've seen it. it's also comparing Martin peaked for a site with Nick still a week out. There's also nothing on the line. When it matters, Nick keeps his waist in. He's not the most proportionate guy by any means. He needs to reign in his gut, but it won't hold him back here.
