Glad you mentioned how chris's shorts arm are a weaknesses. I always thought it looked odd seeing shorter arms on 6ft frame
If you judge this by modern standards taking away the bias most people have for arnold. Cbum absolutely destroys him

Even this downsize Arnold looks better so I'm not really sure your on about. Chris has torn up asymmetrical legs with dents, oily delts that have barely any separation in the back double, no lower back development at all, narrow clavicle, and I don't even have to mention his arms🤷

Conditioning standards are like out of different universes. Arnold would definitely be considered soft today. Also legs oof - Arnold's side leg in one of the side shots was completely without detail. He also only ever had a 4 pack. I think young Arnold if he time traveled to today would definitely be competitive but not as dominant as he was back then. His pecs and biceps though are all timers and he'd be dangerous in those shots regardless of era.

its lights out when arnold hits that front double bicep and twisting back double, arnolds back looks a lot more pleasing in overall shape cbum just has more mass in the back, hard to judge the side chest because cbum is tilted to the front making them appear bigger.
also for that last favorite classic pose shouldve used the 71 picture of arnold hitting the same pose as chris, it looks insane
