According to outlets like Reality Titbit, Tony Beets's net worth comes in at a staggering $15 million. This reportedly makes him the richest out of the entire Gold Rush cast. Though there are no official statements on this, Tony supposedly makes $25,000 per episode of Gold Rush
The salary he receives per episode as the cast member of Gold Rush is the primary source of his net worth. You will be surprised to know that the cast members on the series pocket between $10,000 and $25,000 per episode. Rick Ness pockets $25,000 per episode.

Its funny how I work hard all week to pay the bills and if I'm lucky I'll find the time to watch my favorite show about other guys working hard to make more money than I can dream of.
Think about it, huge tract of land, big machines, thousands of gallons of fuel, workers to be paid, fed and sheltered, AND the assumption that a season defines a time limit within a year, AND to save a season, you have to do more than break even. Otherwise it wasn't worth starting the enterprise. If it were me I would buy from the coin shop and mine in my spare time, a fairweather miner if you like.
You should add a crumbling deck to your mine. Where you can load a bigger load of dirt, not worry about the clumps of dirt frozen together, more loading capacity, and it's just another deck to the job. Play physics and it shouldn't be to hard to line up.

The fact that they never calculate for downtime is just ridiculous entrepreneurship. Keeps complaining about an hour lost while making hasty repairs that will fuck them over later in the season.
It’s hard to recover because the dirt is separated from the rocks, so you get deep suck you in mud, or rocks that have no organic growing medium. Nature left alone long enough will figure something out, but the composition changes so much it is very, very, difficult to grow anything in the tailings, or for animals or people to even walk on them, and the mud also is very difficult to maneuver. Mining is necessary, but it does really screw up the land. What are we going to do? Not have gold? I think they do what they can, but there is always room for improvement
