Cheers .every time i went to the desert back when it opened i got messed up for over 4 hrs and just gave up .finally lol yes a long time... im going to head out there and hope i dont get lost ,if i do at least i have the 6 hr cool down map (teleport) and your guide :) thank you i wish i looked up stuff on YT when i first started playing lol . ox take care n God bless!
Greetings mate. I just wanna thank you for this video. It just provided a big contribution to my one week project on connecting nodes from Trent all the way to Valencia, which I was missing Crescent Mountain at this point. However, I just want to point out that it was slightly different for me to acquire the knowledge. When you said that "at this point you should of have the knowledge" and "You shouldn't climb all the way to the top", I didn't have the knowledge yet, so I went all the way to the top (which was possible) and wandered a bit around there and I got the knowledge. I even took a screenshot from when I got the Area knowledge. Once again, thanks.

Great guide! Is it possible to bring a carriage all the way out here that way when you're farming Crescent shrine you will fill up on items rather quickly that way you have somewhere to drop them off?
Wagons can't cross the desert, but the camel is decent for storage. You can also purchase access to Atosa's Villa to the northeast for repairs and currency exchange.
You need the "desert wagon"...which is the miniature elephant! The mini-elephant is faster than wagons and can carry way too much with many slots as well!
I've only done a few quests in each of those spots, so I'm not sure. Valencia overall is lackluster for silver/xp at the moment compared to Mediah & Pirates. I'll be exploring some new spots this week though to see if there are any hidden gems :)
Really loved the video. Wish more videos were made for desert travel. So much easier to see where you're going instead of guessing, guessing wrong, dying, guessing, guessing wrong, dying again... Definitely off-putting for many players.
You can only auto run in a straight line in the Desert, there's no auto-pathing at all. I think if you get the Compass you might be able to do auto-pathing again.
I haven't used it yet, but I've heard that it expires after a certain amount of time. Personally I'm saving mine for more difficult content (desert dungeons, Nouver, or some other new stuff I haven't heard of yet).

What about the Gear? you Reccommend something ? +15 ok or Pri, duo, tri?
For Crescent Shrine I would say 140/200 minimum, 160/220 to be comfortable. Knockdown resist is also very important.

I've got 209 DP is that enough to discover it without getting killed by them?
209 is a little low to grind the shrine actively unless you have knockdown resist, but it's fine just for traveling through.
