  • Film by John Freyseng of the Upper Canada Railway Society's charter on June 4th, 1960. The group chartered TTC Peter Witt streetcar #2420 for a trip around the city.

    "Grand Belt" and "Midland" as rollsign exposures? Where did they come from? Great video!

    My Dad was a member of UCRS. Might have been on that Whitt excursion. I remember doing an all-nighter once. Good times.

      That's cool! Did your father take any photos during his time with the UCRS?

      @@StreetcarMuseum yes he did take many photos. I have posted some of his steam shots but not his streetcar ones. His pals were Bill Mehuist(sp?), Barry March, Dave Glover, Hugh Harper to name a few. He was also a member of the TMMRC. I will see about copying some of his streetcar photos and post them here.
