Excellent video of BGC. Such convenient walkways and places to sit that are out of the sun when out on a walk with so much available within walking distances. I think I'll end up in BGC after a few travel trips throughout the Philippines.

The country had an unprecedented econimic growth in the last 6 years and that's with the pandemic slowing it down temporarily. The country has lots of room to grow and is developing fast. You could say the US has already peaked, maybe even Thailand whereas PH is just getting there.. so if you're liking the country right now, it will be even better in the coming years. I'm keeping a close eye at New Clark City.. it's the next BGC but much bigger.
I have the worst teeth formation and fix it perfectly outside Metro Manila, Nearby provinces have excellent dental and implants services how much more in BGC and Makati.
Dont live full time in PH, but use it as my homebase in Asia. I have a condo in Makati and one in Uptown. Makati was purchased a 4 years ago, less per sqm and larger sqm 2 bedroom (relatively speaking). Makati condo is only for my use. BGC is a 1 bdrm, smaller relative sqm, and more per sqm. Owned it 1 year as an investment listed on airbnb, friends and family plus business guests. Makati has more character nearby (next to Powerplant), but BGC is safer and more upscale as a whole. Nightlife is more sophisticated in BGC but a bit more diverse in Makati. Depends on what you are looking for. BGC is more expensive on the whole when comparing the two.
As a guy that currently lives in a penthouse in Makati and lived in Bgc for over six months in Uptown I agree with you if I had to choose, I would go with Bgc because I don’t care about nightlife
There are so many stunning streets Forbes town, Bonifacio High street, Burgos circle, Japanese Mitsukoshi Mall in 32nd street, Gondola ride in the Italian vibe Venice Grand Canal Mall near BGC.check it out
So uptown BGC is a good place to work if you are a digital nomad, who needs uninterrupted online time say 8 hours a day to work for western companies online.? This not youtubing but say working security for a SOC/ NOC Mssp company.
I agree and have lived in BGC for the last few years but I don't agree with the 1,500 as minimum to live here. It would be very difficult to enjoy what BGC has to offer with that budget.
I'll take wide roads, no traffic, a quiet International airport, Medical City, green open space, weekly sporting events, over congested BGC any day of the week. @@JasperinthePhilippines
