Do you have a video on how to attach the stake to an item?

It's on the books, but til I make it, here's a synopsis: Ideally, you want to run it straight up a solder line on the back of your piece. You can also can bury it between two pieces of glass in a solder line. You just don't want to attach your stake to an edge bead only as it will pull off and boom crash!😵

I also have looney tunes sound fx for everything i do 😅
What size brass rods do you use? Where did you get them? Is tinning for looks or does it make the rod stronger?

😂 Sound effects...the universal language! I use brass rod 1/8". There's a link for them here if ya want: www.mountainwomanproducts.com/stained-glass-tools-my-favorites/

Do you have a video showing how to attach these garden stakes to the stained glass piece?

I don't yet...but I'll put it on my list of videos to make!😀 You definitely don't want to attach them to an edge bead only as they'll break apart. It's best to either attach them through a solder line or in between the glass, inside a solder line. You may have to modify a pattern to accommodate the rod. If you have any more questions til I get the video up, lemme know!

Would you recommend brass over copper stakes? I see both on Amazon.

I'd recommend brass because they're stronger. There's a link to the ones I use on My Favorite Tools & Supplies page here (scroll down to Extra Tools, Jigs & Other Fun Stuff): www.mountainwomanproducts.com/stained-glass-tools-my-favorites/
