Thank you!!! Very grateful I don't have to spend a fortune buying this from Amazon. Very nice solution to my folding table. Excellent demo! Please leave the awful music out, and put some text for names of stuff.

Great Video. Do you guys have angle connectors to connect two pieces of aluminum? For example, a 1 1/4" fitting that slides over the 1" tube and allows another tube to be fitted to the 1" tube at an angle (90, 75, 45, 30, etc). That in combo with these locking buttons would make for weld free joins to make virtually anything you could make with PVC and couplers.
You have two options: 1. Use this from Amazon for attaching this leg to wood table (or metal). 2 Pack Folding Bracket-Self-Locking Hinge-Leg Fittings and Angle Braces-for Folding Legs 2. Use 80/20 brand extruded aluminum instead of aluminum tubing, and they have all the right fittings. They may also have a fitting for tubular aluminum like this.
Thank God you're kind of local. I've been Google searching and Google searching forever for a freaking store that sales these. I will definitely be in to buy some. Do you know where I can get square tube connectors, and end caps etc as well? Thank you, so glad I re watched this video three times, but this time to the end and then I saw 509. Saweet deal!
I was thinking the same thing, for my telescoping aluminum pole which uses round tubes. These clips would probably be hard to align with the holes in a round tube, because round tubes rotate.
What are the actual clips called? I wand to make some pvc tube legs but I've hit a wall trying to find where to get them or what their actual specific name is
@@RGun90 I'm in Australia. The postage cost would end up making these $10 a piece. Found some anyway. Thanks all the same. Needed ones to fit a 43mm tubing
Hi Robert, there is enough pressure from the spring that keeps the button in the hole. As long as you use the right size spring inside of the right size tube. It will not slide down. This particular spring fit inside of our 1" x 1" x .110" wall tube.

Short, sweet, and to the point.
I was looking for a simple locking mechanism for tube-in-tube, and this is a godsend. Thanks mate XD
I'm glad that I found this video, and that you we're local. I was able to get my parts for my project made in a matter of minutes. Thank you again! :)
what is the name of that spring part which holds the tubes?
thank you soo much, I've been searching so long for a video like this
I really hope this helps me win the Sound Contest from my local radio station. Sounds exactly like it.
Thanks for this information.

Do these clips work the same on round tubing? Is there specific type for round?

Hi Darren, we stock two different sizes that you can purchase right off of our website. alcobrametals.com/telescopic-tubing/push-button-insert/
Look up "Snap Buttons" on Grainger's website. Way cheaper and many more choices than this place. ($5+ PER PIN?!? What an absolute joke @Alcobra...)
