- The nuclear war's radioactive fallout withered plant-life across the world, overwhelming Poison Ivy with the screams of Earth's dying plants and sending her into a catatonic state.
Awakening in a forest of mutated flora, adapted to a bleak radioactive landscape, Pamela found herself transformed into something more plant than woman. She sensed what few plants that had survived, hearing their collective thoughts and will. With her new-found link to the Green, Pamela had an epiphany. These astounding and beautiful mutant survivors needed a guardian, they needed her. She would ensure a better world, where her precious children would never again be threatened by humans. Instead, the humans would fear nature.
To protect the Green, Atomic Poison Ivy uses her radioactively gifted powers to protect herself, obscure her allies, and entrap her foes.
im not so sure about these servers you guys have got right now, but the champs you make and the skills you give them really have so much flavor that its crazy not to be called in by a good few

For those asking about SUPERMAN
they said during one of there Monday dev speaks on twitch that they have been working on superman a lot. they have made him ( both prime and his multiverse selves) a few times but still feel him to be to strong so they keep tweaking/remaking his kit. he will be released before the game goes live once they have all his kinks worked out.
they also just released a post saying theres a preview of him in the next game informer

What is with all these alternate universe characters? You have hundreds of characters to work with yet they release Batman 3 times. And not having Superman just astounds me. Seems like whoever is making the game is a team of huge Batman fans.
It was to avoid people expecting just plain characters when one of the Draws was the multiverse !.
She's really mutated by the radiation from the explosion which transformed her into a god to the mutated plants

I'd like to see Superman but at the same time I don't. I feel like as soon as one Superman comes out we are gonna see nothing but Atomic/Gaslight/etc versions of him for months, kind of like everybody else in this game, but worse.

I like the Atomic hero/villain concept but besides that, this game is pretty DotA for DC lovers...

not what i expected atomic ivy to look like. thought she was gonna be really bloated and release fungi and of the likes. still a really cool design though.
What's up with the skill icons? They were flashing red and yellow like they were glitching or something.
Another atomic-verse champion? Don't we have enough? We only have one Nightmare-verse champion. Plus it's another Batman villain. The only non-Bat villain in game is Doomsday. I think it's time we have a little more diversity. The people working on this game are talented, and they can give us a whole lot more. I know we have to be patient blah blah blah. But people are gonna start to lose interest if we keep sticking to one thing only...
Red Lantern Atrocitus or Red Lantern Guy Gardner add one in the game.

You would think that a game based off of the DC multiverse would have a bigger roster. Not trying to hate because I think the game will be great. I love these kinds of games but as a DC fan and Dota 2 player I'm a bit suprised. However I do like what they did with balance. If they leaned more towards the characters being insanely powerful like in Dota it would cause obvious balance problems but if they went with what League of Legends did and made all the characters weak then it wouldn't feel like a DC game so I'm glad they chose something in between.

Interesteing, but.. wouldn't it be better if they just use some other characters in the huge DC Universe instead of making other versions of the ones that are already in the game? Atomic Batman, Gaslight Batman, Atomic Wonder Woman, Gaslight Joker, for example.

I don't think you understand the game. Infinite Crisis refers to the Comic. There are many worlds and that has affected the Champions in different ways. Some places the champs don't exist, others a hero may be a villain, or have no powers at all. This is not DC Universe MOBA. It is Infinite Crisis. While there may be different versions of the same champ, they ARE different. Plus, more Champs will eventually be released, like Aqua Man. All of this has to go through a DC approval process, coded, tested, then released.

Another batman character added as this quickly becomes infinite batman, or possibly the batman crisis. Seriously quit it with all the batman characters!! I have yet to see a superman or a variation on the flash. Theres so many better options instead we get arkham origins redux....

colour me disinterested. nine out of twenty one characters are batman characters already. I know they are saving supes for the end of the closed beta or the official release but seriously there are far more interesting characters than the ones in batman's stable.
***** Wrong. Batman has the best Rogue's Gallery out of any DC Hero.
Sound's like a comprehensive arguement. I'll admit he has some good villains but there are a wider base of heroes and villains to consider rather than just loading the game with batman characters.

it's true, i even signed fopr the beta key but unfornutatly i havent recieved one, and as i see it this game is to League of legends what HoN is to Dota. a Direct clone of it. So i'm not interested anymore.

Dude, every single MOBA spawned from Defense of the Ancients in some way or another. That argument is invalid by itself.
Not exacly true, games usualy have some equal aspects but it dosent mean they are the same game.
BF4 and Cod are both FPS but they ARE diferent, they play diferent and it feels diferent to play then.
Now if you Play Dota(1 or 2) and then you play HoN you can see they are almost the EXACLY SAME GAME, fuck HoN has heroes the have the exacly skills and stats as dota heroes and the big majority of the items in the game have the exacly same stats as dota items(go check their wikis if you are interest and compare).
Ifinite crisis is looking exacly like lol, at least in art style i dont knwo about items or all the heroes in the game but it seems it will take the same road as HoN.

I've been trying to get into this since I LoL but there is too much 'Toxicity' within the community already. I'm just an average player trying to have fun but I get those comments that I don't know how to play and why are these frickin' noobs in the beta? etc. Even though there are similarities to LoL it's still tough to figure out what does what. If there was a way to Co-op with the AI like I do in LoL, then I would be glad to play IC. All I want to do is have fun without the criticism.
Okay...enough with the batman characters. Seriously one more batman release and I'm dropping this game, it's infinite crisis not fucking gotham crisis. I applied for the beta because I was told it was a DCU moba and so far every other champ is a batman character or variant. I've done good work reporting bugs and filling out your surveys and I can honestly say I've liked how the game has grown, but ffs give me Doc Fate, Martian Manhunter, Etrigan, Deathstroke, Sinestro, Aquaman, or Hawkman/girl. ANYTHING but another batman character.

Also I can see why they are withholding Superman but it might be wise to throw an alternate Superman to end the jeering over the net; the games roster will always be growing although I personally cant compare how the other Moba's were at /launch/
