I might be alone on this but I really wish this MOBA would use the real and normal DC heroes/villains instead of focusing on different versions of every character. I would MUCH rather have Doctor Fate and Deathstroke and Manhunter etc... over someone like Gaslight Catwoman? Or Mecha-Superman? But that might just be me.
I totally agree with this. I mean, Nightmare Superman is kind of cool and all, but where are the OG DC characters?
Granted, its gotten a lot better since I stopped playing. They even have Green Arrow now. I would like to see a Martian Manhunter now, so they will at least have a full justice league.
But there are SO many characters in the OG pantheon that they should do, yet right now they have like 4 batmans.
You do realize that this game hasn't been officially released and is still in beta right? Also, when league started it was such crap so just give it time to flush out a larger roster. But I would LOVE to see a New 52 Faceless Joker skin
drakethe87th Of course I realize that but that still doesn't mean anything. Even when this game is all said and done they are still going to be adding these alternate version characters. I get it because the whole game is kind of designed around that. "Infinite Crisis" because all the heroes/villains from all that infinite earths are fighting each other but I still wish they would have just stuck to main cannon characters.
I don't want to be waiting for the next big reveal only to have it turn out to be some made-up different version of someone :/ I'd rather just have the real character. But I'm still enjoying the game so far, it's just something that irks me.

1.5 seconds single-target suppress with no damage and a hard-to trigger, unrewarding secondary effect on a 120 seconds cooldown? Why are the developers so scared of hard cc they have to make it useless?

Since when does Atomic Wonder Woman have any sort of hard cc?
I suppose a moderate to crippling slow on a champ built around never getting off you and doing massive damage isn't good enough for you?
Also remember the game as like 20 characters you can't expect super heavy cc since there's no real way to combat it yet.
Slows aren't "hard" cc. Hard cc prevents you from acting. Stuns, fears, silences, are all forms of hard cc, while slows, roots and the likes are "soft" cc.
Ther's a way to counter almost every form of cc, even the hardest; it's called "positioning".

the biggest reason why hes a support is because of nightmare batman, remember, the two of them have suppression ultimate and work together well. Alot of the similar extra universes build off of each other, which is why the gaslight trio are SOOOOOO good together (Joker tank, catwoman support and batman adc)
MylaMinoki Yeah also AWW assassin,AGL bruiser,API support/enforcer.They make different universe characters to make them like a perfect combination.Also I know some are pissed with NSM being support,but he is a good one atleast.

I agree, I was hoping this would be some crazy assassin types. The lore concepts are pretty interesting as something out of DC, but the character designs in terms of playability is severely lackluster. Not hating, I actually really want to like this game being a fan of mobas and DC. I do hope IC will not shy away from completely revamping Heroes if needed be as it is still beta.
I believe supports in this game arent so pigeonholed into that role like they are in other mobas. Like robin. He's an AD support that can buff his teammates while still doing decent damage himself.

It would probably be priced a lot higher than that, considering people had to pay like 100 bucks for just 12 champs a little while ago.
They'd have to revamp their entire monetary model, which is highly unlikely to happen :c Smite's model is GREAT.
although overpriced. The only good option was the $30 for all the gods, including future releases. Other than that, it's hugely over priced to buy each god separately.

Pre-Superman Prime.. this was 'Batman Crisis' with all the variations of Batman and his various villains and cohorts.. so it's nice for them to give other DC heroes some love. Further to Kevin's example.. Green Lantern also has 3 versions - Arcane, Atomic and Prime.. and Joker is soon to get his 3rd version I believe. How bout you just chill.. the game is still new.. the storyline calls for multi-verse. Calm down.. this isn't going to be LoL with 115 characters overnight.

I like it but the amount of supports is getting decently high with both controllers and enforcers being able to do it. Could use maybe a little more adc? Or maybe more mages, not sure. But definitely more damage dealers

Haven't played the game and not to be rude but why are they releasing variations of existing characters ? DC Universe has tons of Heroes and yet this game only includes a small fraction. It just looks like they recycling characters over and over to be able to release these so called "NEW" Champions.
Please explain the appeal of these kind of games please.
How I see it is you can have a lot of different games playing a decent amount of different roles/champions/ builds, having fun playing against real people and having a team to share a common goal. The appeal to me is the way each match can be wayyyyy different from the last just based on your team's playstyle and champs.

Yeah yeah, but at least they had the decency to change something up, adding dominion and changing the map (removing trees and removing trees and the clearing of them). These people even copied dominion. which is, according to me, one of the biggest failures of MOBA history. And besides Dota created the genre, that's like saying everyone else copied the first fps, or the first adventure game. I mean they did, but that's how technology works.
