Tim, Copdock interchange isn't the end of the A12, it used to be Great Yarmouth about 45 miles further (Now it's Lowestoft about 37 miles further on)
The trailer.... I do similar sort of work with a stepframe, with clip on ramps like your planning. Couple of things you may wanna consider, the clip on ramps will give you a steeper approach angle, you wouldn't get those ivecos up them. Get the 2.5mtr long ramps. They are easier to store, as they go across the width of the trailer.
Also speak to Andy @WStransport. They run broshuis, and they use 2x sets of ramps to give a 5mtr ramp.
Look at getting longer hop up ramps from the deck to the neck.
Some folks also put a set of ramps on the neck to get round the issues you've had with midlift motors loosing traction on the neck.
Consider getting some 1mtr strops/wheel straps. Saves damaging the straps or wheels when crossing the strap.

Great video Tim might of been suggested by someone else, as you are having the trailer done at King's and the ramps are coming off make use of the hydraulic pack and make a false floor which can be raised by two rams to help get Truck's up on the neck.
did anyone else think about using wood for clearance whilst loading the truck lol yes of course we did
Didn't need to, they could have just pumped the tyres back up after the first hurdle and they'd probably have enough clearance.
@@rm55555they had the tyres deflated because the drive axle would not have touched the ground if they were pumped up

Tim, believe me, if youd been going the other way past Stonehenge it could have taken you anything up to 20 minutes. The reason for the barrier and people walking around it is because 'the elements have made then stones unsafe to walk too near to them'.

Canny video tim, nice load and hopefully help to pay the bills,however after you got stuck o A12, I thought the ivecos were gonna need an mot it took that long , as a retired driver due to ill health your vids keeps me cheerful, I was gonna go owner driver back in 80s with a 143 , but me arse fell out so continued as company driver, woulld do it all over again if I could , my dad was an hgv driver all his working days started in workshop then jumped in the jockey seat at first opportunity, sadly not with us anymore but as he said , once a driver always a driver, keep up the vids mate, you probably cheer more ex drivers up than you will never know, just so you get an idea of time , dad got a 1972 k plate 110 new , oooo many moons ago bit seems like yesterday, that memory lane is one hell of a long road , stay safe, and tomorrow,s just another day with a beutiful scanny , 👍👍🚛🚛

Like Tim, what's the difference between single tag and twin tag?
Single tag means One Wheel Twin tag means Two wheels. A Tag axle is at the behind the Drive Axle which also lifts of the floor.
