@@thebushbunker Best thing to do is measure the cylinders with a bore gauge. If it is oversize by too much or there is a lot of taper in the bore then it would be best to bore to next oversize. If it is straight and within specs, you can get by with honing.
I miss watching you fabricate but I also love learning about the engine work. I like seeing a nice variety. I learn from everything you show us and all of it makes me more handy and capable. I’ve been learning a ton from the engine videos. Happy New Year Brian! You channel brings so many of us great happiness 💪
I love all your videos! Watching them and listening to you explain what you are doing makes me feel like I’m in a shop class with a teacher that you can tell really enjoys teaching. Please show every step in this build. The drivetrain you are putting together is what I want to do in the future. Just a thought, maybe you could list your videos so that it’s a step by step series on this build. That might drive more people to you. I remember the 3A build was super popular and this might be too. I have the utmost respect for you Brian. I just want more people to see how great your channel is! I hope I didn’t offend you, I’m only making suggestions because there are so few channels like yours out there and it’s a shame you don’t get more views. Have a healthy, prosperous and fulfilling 2022!!
Love it. I have a 4.3 in my S10 with 250k on it, still running strong. But when it does get tired I am not afraid of rebuilding it. It's a shame they are kind of limited on the aftermarket for performance parts, but for a simple reliable daily runner I love it.
The 4.3 has been a great engine for many years, also used in marine applications and also industrial generators, etc..... They are a perfect swap into any Jeep due to size and power. Thanks for watching
Hi Brian happy new year! I hope you have a blessed new year. I would love to to see more sheet metal, engine builds, drivetrain, paint. Really any thing you want to show I’ll be happy to learn . Thank you so much for all the videos, you are our Jeep guru!!!
Sioux really makes some great tools. Dont' have this kit, but looks well made and user friendly. Best to you and Maria for New Years. We are in for a cold and wet week here, and cut more wood on Wed, but bride not paying attention, had to go to ER for 12 stiches, and want a way to end the year (@@)!. Take care,,Bear & Sammie.

Sheet metal video would be great 👍
Talking with a newcomer to the sheet metal scene and have a video planned to answer some of his questions. New sheet metal video coming soon.

Rod heaters are okay, However if you overheat or heat to long you are fatiguing the small end, Can't go wrong cold press. PS nice video . Thank you
