Love your channel. We have never made ADR's and have eaten everywhere we wanted, including sci-fi and Olga's. We walk up, ask if there's any openings for our party size, they tell us usually anywhere from 20 mins to an hour wait. The only place we couldn't get in was restaurant on top of the contemporary for dinner...but we did get in for Sunday brunch. Heck we even got into ohanas at 7:30 one evening. We never know where we want to eat from day to day...never the less, months in advance. Just our take on it. Don't get discouraged if you can't get an ADR...try when you get into the park.
Great tips! Here's a dining booking story for you all - For our upcoming December trip, which we are staying on property - I was clicking for Sci-Fi from 5:59 am until the clock rolled over to 6:00 am and the message went from "...keep checking back" right to "There are no reservations available.." Seems like we are competing with tons of people clicking at the same time. I remember not having this problem when we went back in 2017, the 60 day window combined with this time of year and not to mention everyone finally getting back out there for vacations must make the really popular place extremely hard to land. But hey no worries here we got the Mama Melrose instead - I'm sure it will be delicious as well. Good luck everyone!
Great tips guys. Love Disney dining the have some of the best food. As a former culinary cast member I'm a bit based. New friend here as well. Love meeting more Disney ohana.
Following your “Keep checking!” advice for Sci-Fi for our upcoming December trip. I was ready to go at 5:58am sixty days before, but I chose to go after Be Our Guest for our MK day instead. When I got to our HS day, Sci-Fi was gone. Oh well! It’s all part of the Disney experience!😆
You actually can, we’ve done it many times! It’s up to security to let you in if you’re driving, but we haven’t been turned away yet. Worst case, you can go to the TTC and walk over. However, we have been turned away from stopping at the Contemporary for a lounge, so it’s very much dependent on what Security Officer you get.
Can you go over num13 again? I’m going this July and am staying on site. I know that they’d let me book 60 days out but what is this 10 thing you’re talking about ?
If you aren’t staying on property, you can book an ADR 60 days in advance. If you’re staying on property, you can book ADRs for your entire trip (up to a 10 day stay) 60 days prior to your check in day. So, if you’re staying 10 days and you book your last day on the 60th day prior to checkin, then you’re actually booking that last ADR day 70 days before the reservation takes place.
Can I book two reservations at ohana? I’m going with a group of 8 and was thinking it may be better to do 2 reservations of 4. What would you suggest? I’m the only one doing to reservations and trip planning for that matter
Does anyone know if there’s a limit to how many reservations you can make? We’re going in jun 22, and have a 7 day park pass, so we want to reserve dinner each night. We’re staying at Disney resort so I know we can book all days with one call, but can I book multiple restaurants for same day?? My thought is to just booked a bunch of places, and then after the stress of that initial morning, go back through all them a figure out which ones work with our park days… we can then cancel the rest….
You can book multiple reservations on the same day but not for the same meal. It won’t let you book two ADRs within two hours of each other because it knows you can’t be in different places at the same time.
GREAT TIPS!! Thank you

Sheesh, yeah that sounds about right currently. It’s crazy. I’m sure you’ll enjoy Mama Melrose though.
Same thing with us. I really wonder if Disney really loads up reservations in advance. I find it suspicious that 6:01 am everything is gone.
Great tips! Thank you….Love the beard Dan
Haha, thanks
Great advice!!!

Haha, and what an experience it is!! SciFi is super hard to get right now
Nice
but you cannot get into the resort if you are just wanting to visit the Tambu Lounge! What do you suggest for those?

That’s a great idea. You can’t guarantee that they will sit you together if they are separate, but you can show up early and request it
Do split stays hurt my chances?
Yes bc you can book 60 days from check in for your whole stay
Couldn’t get Topolinos:( I did my 60days and woke up at 6am to get a reservation and could not 😭 kept checking and nothing :( any other tips ?!
You can try an alert service, there’s a bunch of them.
