Great Backing Track..I already purchased it. I did a guitar solo over that backing track. Please have a look on this link ruclips.net/video/mLv-sbxT3us/видео.html hope you like it. Thanks!
I had one of the best jams of my life with this track. It's like the band I was never a part of. Now I'm a badass with the Dorian scales thanks to your backing tracks. Using a Blackstar amplug and using an aux cable to connect the two. Badass jamming and my apartment neighbors don't hear shit. It's perfect.
These are absolutely the best jam tracks on RUclips. What a collection of tracks to work with. I just love em.' This one is great - just like most of the others. I can't wait to get into this over the week-end.
Wow, had one of my best improvisations with this backing track. It was almost as if my hands just went autopilot because I don't know how the hell I did that lmao. Thanks a lot!
big greetings from Russia! thank you so much for the high-quality backing tracks and everything you do for us. you're incredibly cool... from the heart... I get out of depression with the help of your tracks when I jam😹. Well, I'll improvise at a good time , thanks again, bro🤘🔥
I just jammed out to this mix on Keys 🎹 and I had a blast shredding along with it. Also, a Distortion Organ fits very well with the chorus progressions! Job well done sir
Really appreciate this, thank you so much. Been stuck in a blues rut for a bit and this is helping pull me out. Inspiring track to practice to. Thanks again
Hey bro. Where will I find this particular track? Is it listed under the same name in your collections, only I can't seem to find it. Great work as always mate....my practice time has gone up a million percent.
I'm over here having a blast on my acoustic guitar jamming along with the track knowing I don't have such a rocky sound but trying do melodies and keep up with the electric guitar jam lol
Good job..just a little fast for my skill level! Some day soon I'll be back! Edit: How funny, I just saved this to my backing tracks folder, looked at the comments and... I'm back! I can play to this now. Actually, as i was listening to it I decided I want to play the actual backing track, not necessarily a solo over it. Thank you!?
Your tracks keep me playing all the time. This one especially. Used this track to record for the first time with cakewalk and i want to record more, but am i allowed to record myself with your track in the backing? Would not want to be in any violation or be disrespectful to you. Thank you for your awesome service and work. Learn a lot by playing with your tracks and the chord progress on screen. Cheers from the Netherlands 🇳🇱👍
I did get this guitar tone from Amplitube 5 MAX, Preset: U R not alone! Elevated Jam Tracks, did you use this effect? I know you mostly use 'real' gear
the B natural minor scale contains a G (so usually you’d see an Em since this note would be its minor third) whereas the chord sequence here uses an E major chord which contains a G#. So improvising with B natural minor would sound fine over every chord apart from E! (Dorian is a natural minor with a raised 6th and G is the 6th degree of B minor) F# is already in both scales so this isn’t affected although you could use an F too which would make it sound more bluesy
Friend, it's in A Major but he's using the B Dorian mode, essentially using the minor second of the A major scale as the home base for the song. I'm sorry if you already know this, it's just that this video was somehow the missing piece of the puzzle that made me understand how modes work.
@@Erebus-qu8mu there's more to it. the tonality is ambiguous (although its basically a B minor progression) until the E chord. there it becomes dorian. the trick is our ear usually recognizes the first chord we hear as the "home base", but this time by avoiding the G note, he does not "commit" to a tonality. when he does, it's a lot late in the progression. that's why you can play it as dorian all the way. BUT watch out. in a progression where A major is the clear home base, if you play B dorian, that's cool and all, but you're just playing A major with B dorian fingerings. it's a good shortcut for improvisation, but it's not modal. modal happens when there is harmonic ambiguity, no V to I resolutions, basically no resolutions except for the "hey back to square one". it takes a lot of time to learn and understand all these nuances about modes, i know i've had my share of headaches. a good way of understanding how modes sound and "feel" is the pitch axis approach. you can use a drone tone as a backing, say, a continuous C tone with no other notes, and try out every possible C mode (which includes C minor harmonic and melodic modes. i love the dominant phrygian, so cool).
I was just wondering if you have a version of this with the side chain guitars turned down about 4db-5db. The snare, bass guitar, and kick drum get buried in your mix?
is nice backingtrack i enjoy. But its not hard to notice that chords that are written are single in each section. sometimes three should be two chords in one section. it little disturbes when you want to improvise especially over the chords using p.e. modla scales or arpeggios. By hearing all is clear. THX

Benjamin Saunders oh I was just playing along to this yesterday! I love it!
Super jam track!
Thank you! Its awsome!
Can someone explain why Dorian is recommended here instead of the natural minor? Great jam track!!!
F does not exist both as a part of A and D major chord and scale. Dorian mode has raised 6th, which in this case is F# that fits those chords.
the B natural minor scale contains a G (so usually you’d see an Em since this note would be its minor third) whereas the chord sequence here uses an E major chord which contains a G#. So improvising with B natural minor would sound fine over every chord apart from E! (Dorian is a natural minor with a raised 6th and G is the 6th degree of B minor)

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this track is in the key of A (F# minor).
