Yes, I did work for a big American company and they are just like that. Jason's begging for a regular workday were the same as we communicated. Every time I watch this episode, I'm dying from laughter. Since laughter is related to breathing, the Coroner will blame it on Covid.
You should instruct your audience not laugh, because laughter can cause them getting infected with Covid.
Sounds like it's going to be so bad people are going to actually bond over how much they loathe having to be there... also, a scavenger hunt massacre? That defo deserves a follow up

I actually genuinely think that's how team bonding events work. It's not how they are 'supposed' to work, but the actual function is that people are able to give each other 'the look' while sarcastically and over-enthusiastically taking part in whatever questionnaire or spear-throwing shenanigans they flew in for from the other side of the country while waiting for the open bar (or maybe that last part is just Finland).

I've worked in corporate for seven years now, over two different companies, and have universally taken off every day that was given to a 'team building' day, as well as not attended any office Christmas parties. I like working with my colleagues but they are not my friends, and there's nothing professional, or even appropriate, about playing childish games or getting drunk with people whose authority you're supposed to 'respect' the next day. This video is funny, but also painfully accurate.

My company solved the problem: They gave cameras to everyone :)) Although all the calls so far didn't require us to turn it on (thank God).
Watching the closing scenes you can see how their sketches emerge. They really bounce off each other. Great chemistry.

Not only did we have to go team building at a climbing park. It was decided that it would be extra fun to make it *90s kids themed*
So I was forced to wear denim dungarees and make myself a Boyzone Fan shirt for that day.
I wish they'd just given me the admission price for the park in cash...
The saddest part was, that the kids we worked with, would have *loved* this. But it was employee only.
WTF?
They tricked us by having a coworker "spy" jokingly ask us what embarrassing thing we were fans of in the 90s and then made up that shirt thing.
The photos still give me goosebumps 😣

Totally spot on. One year we went to a campground that actually had a team building Native American ritual.
Slight twist on the ‘name and interesting fact’ stereotype- the ‘name and two lies and one truth’ activity that I’ve been subjected to a few times throughout my adult life. Because that doesn’t make a room full of strangers feel awkward at all

I have the same style hoodie that Hog is wearing at the end and can honestly tell you it's so so comfy and nice. My brother gave it to me when we went to see ye in February.

In the not so far distant good old days in Cape Town at a couple of companies there were things like a free cinema show (families included) with full buffet and complementary cinema goodies; free open air music concert tickets with picnic boxes provided; and tickets to rugby matches; a helicopter flight round the coast - and no silly competitions or forced jollity

I had team building today and it was great. Your choice of archery or paintball, free lunch at a restaurant, mini golf. Best day of the work year. We didn't even have to wear matching company shirts.
