I still consider myself a noob but even I found this painful 🤣 though I'm sure anyone watching me build an engine the other day would've said the same lol
A few solutions to fix your engines idle as other have said are to: 1) Increase the idle rpm (setting in the throttle body.) 2)Give your crank 72 degree offsets rather than 90 because it's a V10 not a V8. 3)Changing the percent the throttle body is allowed to open to reach idle. (called "Idle Control Min %", also in the throttle body.)
Cross plane and flat plane only apply to V8 engines A V10 should have a star plane crank with 72° offsets, your 90 degree offsets mean 2 cylinders are occasionally firing at the same time creating your rough idle you're supposed to change the offset of each crank journal by pressing shift E with the crank journal highlighted and inputting the numerical value of the offset in degrees As for the display screen you don't need to connect to a battery, it didn't work before because the screen wasn't turned on, they can display 4 lines of data but only from the first part you connect them to, you can then change the settings of the part to choose which of those values to display, other parts connected will not be in the settings, they each need their own display
Hey man just a quick building tip when you want to place something grab it from where you want to attach it from such as the crank you would want to grab it from the end then attach it to the W45° beam
You’re using the W45 which is a V90 with an extra bit for a third bank between the other banks (how your building it is equivalent to a V90 setup rather than a V45)
Btw V10 are "natural crossplanes" and usually they use a 72 degrees offset, it's like the "basic" offset for a V10, calling it Crossplane it's like cooling Hot water "HW (Hot Water) it's silly, btw great video... I'll buy this game for sure
I have a question. is a 600hp, around 2000 lb ft of torque possible in a V8 configuration in gearblocks? I am trying to build a irl engine but not sure how or if I could get the V8 to that much power and torque. if its possible to build more than that then is it possible in a I6?
Not sure.... but that's a lot of torque. You would really need a bigger displacement cylinder bore to generate more torque. But we only have two options. Maybe they will release a big block bore size or something like a big Cummins diesel engine type.
Being someone who knows a lot about this game and mechanics makes this slightly painful lol, but this is just part of learning.

Crank angle offset needed to be 72 degrees. He chose hardest engine to build 😬🤣
I haven't played the game at all and I still think this was painful to watch.

the crucial parts this game still don't have : triangle blocks

Yeah, thanks for the info. The game is pretty good, there is a lot to it.
This could be such a fire series, keep it up!!
You need to make a better engine crankshaft. You have 5 pieces. 360°:5=72°. It idles strangly because its like a v8+2
The scripts you were talking about are on the pause menu
@@masterwoof8969 actually they're greyed out in pause menu, you have to return to main menu to access them
Maybe the engine will run better if you add a flywheel?🤔
there arent flywheels in this game
but if he makes a vehical it will work as a flywheel
@@zombie3070 fair enough, I hadn't realised the game didn't have flywheels. So making a vehicle could fix the choppiness of the engine then?
You can just attach a cylinder to the axle and make it heavy, then you have a flywheel
@@aidanpatterson2993 well im not an engine nerd but that would
work. But more cylinders would also work

You can make the idle smoother by changing the minimum throttle.
have you ever tried From The Depths? You're play style would be great in that game.
Wuckert Lock
give each cylinder a throttle body
Flywheel please 😮
Make a w engines
I might try that...
If you want I can teach a few things abt the game bc no offense but you aren’t the best😅
LOL. Okay, sure. This was my second time playing. Check my latest videos. I probably still suck. 🤣
